Well, like I said, I’m not an expert. 😃
Well, like I said, I’m not an expert. 😃
Right. I’m not an expert, but sociopathy has never struck me as a mental illness. In plain English, I don’t think that Trump is mentally ill. I just think he is an extremely self-absorbed bad person, with unfortunately some charisma.
Is being a sociopath considered a mental illness?
I don’t think anyone has yet mentioned:
Robert Wise (The Body Snatcher, Curse of the Cat People, The Day the Earth Stood Still, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, and many others).

But upon reflection, just siccing the mice on the TPM Blu-ray and leaving it at that seemed fine too.
Man, you guys are killin’ me! 😃
Look for threads that include the name “Harmy”.
I like the Ewoks.
Silverwook found an audio glitch on reel 1 of the laserdisc audio.
I’ll look into it over the weekend.
Generalfrievous wasn’t ever rude to anyone on this forum.
But I thought that it also gave the reader an indication of what to expect in terms of playback on a 5.1 system. Is that not so?
My only question is then where should the “dot” be on the accompanying diagram. The single dot in the top center would seem to indicate single channel, center only encoding. So, would the appropriate diagram say “16mm mono”, then with TWO dots (upper left and right), in the diagram? That might seem at first to be contradictory, but it would more accurately reflect the encoding.
Dual mono?
I seem to remember hearing that term before. Maybe “Dual 16mm mono” in this case?
Warb, if it helps you feel better, you might want to go back and peruse a few of the threads you were active in. You’ll see that a number of people who disagreed with you also took the time to post their disagreement with your temp ban. It’s not all bad, just sayin’.
The only thing about the 16mm mono, is that it is implemented on both L and R channels. That is, I have the same track in the left and right channels (as opposed to pure mono, which some 5.1 players playback in the center channel only). I honestly don’t know the best way to indicate that on the back of the cover. All of my 16mm editions are encoded that way.
Hi Boba!
Thanks again for making the great covers.
The specs are the same as the previous two editions, except the running time is 131 minutes and 47 seconds. I guess that makes it closer to 132.
I really like your notes!
America’s pledges of allegiance and various showings of national spirit are pretty extreme on a world scale as far as I can tell – several Germans I know were visibly shaken and alarmed at what they saw going on in grade-school American classrooms.
I took some Italian relatives to a drum and bugle corps show about 20 years ago, and they had a similar reaction. All the saluting and overt patriotism reminded them of bad times in Europe. While they were impressed with the performances, they found all the saluting slightly scary.
There are TWO problems: (1) what we see, and (2) what we hear.
Seriously, the two trilogies can’t be compared. The AFI top 100 list has Star Wars at #15, and #1 for science fiction movies. Films101 has a top-1000 list, using a formula based on critics and filmmakers’ reviews - Star Wars is #22 and ESB is #357. That’s for films from all over the world, not just the USA. It is highly unlikely that any of the prequels would ever crack any modestly reasoned top 10,000 list.
That said, I do sometimes enjoy watching them.

I’m going to take a knee the next time I hear the national anthem in protest of the excessive police action at OT.com and the temp banning of Warbler. 😉
ooo, pushes the irony meter off the scale
It’s not entirely inconsistent. Rednecks would favor both: (1) firing kneelers, and (2) a name like “The Redskins”.
Not sure why Warbler was given a time out. I thought he was being pretty reasonable (even though I disagreed with him).
I notice that in some cases, players kneeling still remove their hat and/or hold their hand over their heart. Still nobody has been able to explain how kneeling is a sign of disrespect.
Telling businesses to fire employees who make political protest unrelated to the business, is un-American IMO.
I’m actually worried by the shear number of wild North Korea stories appearing lately. While I realize that North Korea is a horrible oppressive regime that does ghastly things, it is also true that military strikes are often preceded by a propaganda blitz so that people won’t oppose the action. It’s starting to have that feel… lots of wild, unsubstantiated stories attributed to defectors. It seems like suddenly half of the stories trending are North Korea sensational stories.
Maybe he’ll bankrupt the GOP too.
I thought Spicer’s ability to laugh at himself was his first evidence of humanity.
