Favorite version of Street Fighter
Time
I liked Super Street Fighter 2 and Alpha 3. They had my two favorite characters in the series, Vega and Cammy. I used to be pretty good with them back in the day. I could beat most of the usual Ryu/Ken people out there with them, and it was cool because they didn't seem to expect much out of Vega or Cammy.

Wasn't all the Alpha series pretty much the same game, only some different characters?

I've only played the original (Street Fighter) on MAME, and its terrible. Considering that I think Street Fighter was an relatively obscure arcade game, and not a very good one, its suprising that they ever made a sequel to it. Good thing, though, because the series after that was the best.

It is important to know when to end a show, even if ratings are good. Look at M*A*S*H. It could of continued for a long time, but they realized that it would be best to end the show, instead of letting it decline in quality until ratings gets it cancelled. Just because ratings are high doesn't mean it isn't best for the show to be cancelled. Yes, I agree that the Simpsons are through, they just keep making new shows anyway.

Info Wanted: Superbit?

Depends on your point of view. Superbit is basically a trademark of Sony. They say it has the higher bitrates and DTS audio. But, no non-Sony distributed film could be a superbit, even if it met or exceeded their criteria, because only Sony DVDs can qualify.

But if things might be different if you only take Superbit as a set of Technical specs. So it could be, or could not, from a certain point of view.

Close, but not quite close enough. I really wish that they would release the trilogy with DTS sound. Too bad Lucas is too hung up on Dolby Digital. But DTS tracks are out there, just not accessible to anyone.

TPM voted #12 worst sequel ever by EW Magazine

Exactly what I was about to say. If you look at the Tin Man,Cowardly Lion, etc, they were taken directly from the illustrations in the books, not the Judy Garland movie. Also, there are some other characters that show up in the books in the final celebration scene in the emerald city Being a big fan of the entire Oz series of books, I loved Return to Oz. It was very true to the books. Unfortunately, everyone thinks Oz=Judy Garland and didn't get the film. Not that I don't like Judy Garland's Wizard of Oz, because I think its great. Its just that the two are similar, but different at the same time.

On another side note about Return to Oz, if one watches the "tour of the Lucasfilm archives" in the Supplemental materials to the Definitive Collection LD/Rowman's DVD extras, Tik-Tok is in there. I think he was at the beginning, and the camera goes by him in the midst of the expected Star Wars stuff. I thought that was cool when I saw him.

As for TPM, I hate to defend it, but I don't think it deserved to be in the list of worst movie sequels. There are plenty of worse movies than TPM that didn't make the list. I'll say that AOTC was worse than TPM. To be fair to it, there was no way on earth any film could of ever lived up to the hype that TPM had. Having said that, no, it wasn't a really great movie, and I'd just assume watch the OT. But I don't think it belongs on this list.
