New directors cut has visual inconsistencies with new special effects!
I spotted continuity mistake from the very screenshots:
look at image 1 and the white concrete bridge wall (both versions have it, great)

Deep Space 9 is my favourite Star Trek, I wish there was official release. I have seen some fan projects (small scene uspcales) on youtube. There is always plus and a minus sadly.

Yes, agreed! It is very hard to achieve a mix of that type, to maintain imposiveness trough exaggerated stylisation.
