To boldly go... oh, forget it.
To boldly go... oh, forget it.
Yoda-San is exactly right -- Alderaan94's request is sad. Let's not forget that this is, of course, Lucas's plan:
The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition]

I'm typing in all bold to see how it feels.
Bold typeface, or bold content?

That last comment makes me feel sad. I myself love film projectors and watching a movie in 3-strip Cinerama and 70mm film are my only remaining assignments to complete my Cinematic experience.
I enjoyed Star Wars in 70mm back in 1977. Good movie.
Congrats!

By not asking here.
LOL!!!!!
My last physical included a digital exam.
Thanks, Chewie. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't for the team only or something.

For future reference: We will primarily be posting news and updates on reddit.com/r/AMPSdeux/

Anyone able to access to AMPSdeux? It shows as private. Did a PM a few days back, but haven't heard anything.

If there's a point to the last two pages, please feel free to come to it.
You mean besides the one atop imperialscum's head?

This thread is officially the worst.
Where can I vote for Frink to be the moderator for this board?

Downloading the copy to your hard disk or buying it on DVD is both buying physical copy. At no point it becomes a non-physical copy.
I'm pretty sure I'm feeding a troll here -- I don't think that this guy is really this obtuse. Anyway, the term is clearly defined in the Digital Copy wiki. A file on your hard drive is NOT a physical copy, as the term is understood:
A Digital Copy is a commercially distributed computer file containing a media product such as a film or music album. The term contrasts this computer file with the physical copy(typically a DVD or Blu-ray Disc) with which the Digital Copy is usually offered as part of a bundle
Stunning! Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks for these.

Just sent Harmy some more previews or the Sarlacc pit, the Rancor, and the end scene with the Force Ghosts. We hope to get him the full scenes in a higher quality.

Thank you!

4 of ?
Well thank God for that. I was afraid you guys were dropping the current projects and doing Episodes 1-3 instead!
Thanks -- looks *amazing*!
WOW that looks great! Thanks for posting it.

The latest update I got on this for Reel 3 was:
"In other news, Reel 3 just past the 80% done mark. Approx. 6300 frames left."
Hopefully, we will have some previews of it.
That still leaves Parts of Reels 1, 6 to do along with some of Reel 4.
Team Negative1
That's reely good news! Thanks for the update.
Awesome! Thanks for the update.

We have been previewing the new Fuji print. Though slightly dirty on the headers and tails parts, the rest looks fairly clean.
It will possible to use this as a good color reference going forward for future versions. So less guessing on what the colors will look like.
A full review will be forthcoming.
Team Negative1
Fantastic! Do you have a way to clean the physical film?

Does anyone else have this problem?
Also, you could try this: http://www.ulozto.net/xtRatFDp/introducing-the-deed01-wp-mp4
Or loading the link into JDownloader.
The original link and this link don't work. I'm in the US.
Jdownloader of the original link didn't work, either.
Thanks for posting these. Is the screenshot your scan vs. the BR or GOUT?

But if they DO include the unaltered films - what would be the canon version?
It would be the pristine 70MM I saw in 1977, of course! ;-)
FANTASTIC job, Harmy! Looks great! Thanks for putting in the time -- it was well worth it.
