Does anyone have any Deleted Scenes for the Original Trilogy?
Time
Calm down, man! You know as well as anybody there will be several releases on DVD. Each one will be ever so different, and will include a "must have" scene or whatever. The point is, IT's A HUGE MONEY GRAB! Not just Lucas, but all the tight-ass suits at Lucasfilm, Fox & whatever. Do you think those prequel DVD's would have sold well if there was no deleted scenes or 8hrs. of extras? (or whatever it was).

Reminder: Bootlegs of commercially available DVDs (such as the upcoming trilogy release) are NOT PERMITTED

I disagree. Personally Lucas is not going to release the originals. I don't believe he will change his mind no matter what we do. So you might as well bootleg.

Then what is the purpose of this site and any others like it? If you truly believe all hope is lost for an official release, then we may as well call this site originaltrilogybootlegs.com. I too am going to buy the DVD's. However, I would love to have the original versions on DVD as an official release. DVD is probably the best format we will see in our lifetime, and I will always love the originals best, but I won't give up hope. I will enjoy my Laserdiscs, VHS, and any other copies I own until an official release is made. I won't hold my breath however. But by telling everyone “it's never going to happen, you may as well bootleg them", is totally counter-productive. As of now, this site is small potatoes. But it is growing everyday, and someday, who knows? All I'm trying to say is, let's not burn any bridges. If you want to bootleg copies, or whatever, go ahead. I don't have a problem with that. I'm saying maybe this is the wrong place to advertise it. I don't want to give up hope. Star Wars is a HUGE part of my life. Maybe life is just too fucking short to bother with any of this. Maybe I will just go stick a gun in my mouth. What the fuck! Why hang around and be disappointed all over again by Episode III.

"Good-bye cruel world. I'm leaving you today. Good-bye. Good-bye. Good-bye. Good-bye all you people. There's nothing you can say, to make me change my mind. Good-bye."

I can see Lucas now, saying, "the ones who really want the original versions are hardcore fans. Since they are making so many bootlegs, why should I bother to change my mind. I will make money no matter what I release. Let them make thier bootlegs and I'll keep fucking Star Wars up until I die and make a few billion dollars more doing it".

WE ARE SHOOTING OURSELVES RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!

Lucas gets the last laugh if we continue to advertise it.

The reason I liked Blair Witch was because it left a lot to the imagination. Not many things do that anymore. You know the old saying, 'sometimes it's scarier if you don't see it'. There is nothing more vivid than the imagination. If you take it at face value, theres not much too it. I have an over active imagination. Sometimes thats not a good thing.

Anyway, a movie that has not been mentioned yet, that is one of my all time favorites, Kubrick's The Shining.

Yes the Exorcist! Awsome! The Blair Witch Project was a breath of fresh air. So simple, yet so effective. I loved the Thing as well. (original & remake- I love all John Carpenter's work) I have yet to see a movie by M. Night Shyamalan that I liked. Signs was pretty good until the last half hour or so. The ending killed the entire movie.

I agree with Bossk. All those are great movies. My all time favorite has to be Halloween. I also love the cheezy '80's horror movies. Like "Alone in the Dark", "Slumber Party Massacre", etc. I am also a big fan of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre! The re-make was pretty good. Jesica Biel was, well great!
