I saw your project and the great things people were saying about it and tried doing the torrents and I am having problems trying to get it. What can you suggest I do to get a copy of your project, "The Story Of Star Wars"? Or if anyone out there can help me, I would be greatful.

Thanks and May The Force be with you....

Tom

Are you having trouble with this particular torrent, or torrents in general? There are currently 6 seeders and no leechers on myspleen. You should be able to get it pretty quick. When I see that there are leechers, I jump on and seed as much as I can. If you have Usenet access, it's available on alt.binaries.starwars. Alas, I am still without blank discs so I can't help there. Maybe someone can offer to PIF to you. I've sent out quite a few of these...

"Star Wars: Bounty Hunter - Beyond The Game" a Galactus & MoveAlong Production

Well, I've completed the 1st draft and sent it off for Galactus' inspection. Shouldn't be too long before this is out.

Here are some menu screenshots...

There is A LOT of stuff on this. Although I'm not a PT fan at all (or a gamer, for that matter), this has been a great and ambitious DVD project to work on. Galactus has really put together an enormous amount of content. I think this will deserve a place on any fan's shelf. We've thrown in a few surprises, so people should have some fun with this...

Info Wanted: Anyone Planning on making Anamorphic versions using 2006 OUT DVDs?
Time
I think I've read that the NTSC GOUT is progressive, so you shouldn't need to worry about IVTC. The video files should be 23.98fps progressive. The pulldown is handled by the DVD player. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. On another subject, I plan on using the PAL GOUT as the framework for The Story of The Empire Strikes Back, which will be an NTSC project.

I don't use Windows so I can't tell you from experience, but here's the expanded burning guide from imgburn.com

1. Load ImgBurn
2. Insert blank CD/DVD (depending on image size!)
3. Select a file to write by clicking on the 'Browse for file' button.
4. Click the big 'Write' button.
5. Wait a while zzzzz.....

Finished!

I'm sure DVD Decrypter is not all that different. Either should work just fine. Enjoy...

That's the plan, yes. I'm hoping that the OUT will be of accectable quality to use it exclusively. Unfortunately, if the rumours are true about it being pretty bad looking, I might have to use the 2004 material like I did for TSOSW, and use the OUT to get rid of most of the offensive SE material. We'll just have to wait and see.

In the mean time, I'm working on the Bounty Hunter project with Galactus. It's going to be pretty cool.

This looks to be an interesting project. Galactus is correct. The cut scenes are really quite stunning. They have a nice cinematic feeling to them. Galactus has collected a treasure trove of all things Bounty Hunter and this DVD should be a nice volume for fans of the game. As he said, I am taking his sources and whipping them into shape. I really enjoy authoring, so I'm looking forward to getting this out. If anyone has any source material that you think would be nice, just let Galactus know. This is his road. I'm just directing traffic...

It will be:

Episode V
THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

My intention for TSOSW was to have Rebel11_38 re-create the original '77 theatrical crawl. That's why there's no episode# or "A New Hope". It wasn't ANH when the album came out in '77, so it seemed more fitting to format it identically to the original crawl. Seeing as how ESB has always been labeled as Episode V, I will absolutely make it that way.

//RETURNING TO JEDI\\: NTSC & PAL DVD

Whew! Good to hear. That backup strategy is still a good idea, no? I was finally able to sit down the other day and devote around 3 hours to really absorbing Building Empire (easter egg and all). I watched it when it first came out, but wasn't REALLY able to give it the time it deserves. It's even more brilliant than I first thought. Bravo, and I can't wait for RTJ....

JD,

Will your mac not power up or can it just not completely boot? If it can power up and you can get the optical drive tray open, put the Tiger installation DVD in there and boot from it (power up holding down the "C" key). Run DiskUtility once you have access to the menu bar at the top of the screen. If the HD is recognized, click repair disk and hopefully that will do it. I haven't read anything about this on Macfixit, and things normally turn up there. If the disk won't mount and isn't recognized by DiskUtility, I will personally send you a copy of Prosoft's Data Rescue II. It's an emergency boot disc/data recovery program. It saved my ass a few months ago and is awesome. I'll do anything I can to keep RTJ going. Needless to say, I'm now religious about my backups. I have an external firewire drive that I clone my internal drive to once a week with the free CarbonCopyCloner. If your internal drive is toast, you'll need an external drive to recover to. Let me know. THIS SUCKS!!!

Star Wars DVD Covers

Hey Falle,

Nice work! I'd like to make a request. On your disc art, please don't superimpose white mattes (center hole and outside). Just leave the whole square image. I like to print full surface all the way to the hub using my R200. And with white mattes it can be problematic. I know this is an annoyance to a lot of people and there's no need for the mattes to be there. Thanks again and nice work!
