ok some bad news.... my new A64 PC is having some problems AGAIN(<insert rude word> so i MAY no be able to upload the DVDs this week...Im hoping i can get it fixed before friday if i cant then the uploading will be delayed a week maybe more.

i no longer have usenet access

, providers in the land down under dont provide usenet access, and well since i get my tv eps and other goodies via friends private FTP and torrents i feel paying $20 a month for usenet is useless

My 1997 SE tapes where eaten by my crappy VHS player, but my bro picked up a near new 1997 boxset 4 weeks ago, for $10AU.... which was a stupid thing as well ive got no VHS player!!!... stupid 16 year old

. But i did plan to buy another one and dump the interviews ect... but no need to now you have done that

maybe we/you should post on torrent sites that have download ratios. That would help keep the torrents alive longer and force the leechers to upload!!!, i am sick of leechers!

btw is this off a tape or recorded with a tv tuner to the hdd

Awhile back i promised to upload the "LOOK" SE 1997 DVDs, since im back and ive finished downloading all the Battlestar eps i can now upload the DVDs.... does anyone still want them?. I only have 256k upload so if i DO upload them people better seed!!!!.

Hey ive got the 97SE LD->DVDs ive got 2 copies the Five Star Edition and the LOOK edition, the Five Star is DVD9 and the LOOK is DVD5, the Five Star edition is a bit bright but looks good, the LOOK edition has about the same quality as the OT TR47 dvds. ohh also the Five star is non-anamorphic, the LOOK is anamorphic. I will upload both soon(i will shrink the FS with CCE and turn down the brightness) or if you cant wait im sure i can burn you a copy.

ok here is my soultion to fix the 4 sec gap in the TR47 version with out rencoding http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl5hum/index.htm. downside is when 3PO turns he turns a bit to quick.
Also MeBeJedi i could give you my SE LDs to make transfers of them, just got to go down to the basement to look for them.

btw i got the dvds rik the look se dvds imo are better than the five star se dvds, not too bright pretty good sound and the picture quality is the same.

For those who hate that 4 sec gap between the leia welding scene there is a easy way to fix the problem with out recoding the movie, i will post the solution tomorrow don’t have time to write it up now
