I can tell you for a fact that he has been banned numerous times at TF.n for the exact same behavior, and the status of his account is very much up in the air at this point. Not to mention the fact that he admitted in one of his posts there to being a troll here.

I, personally, find a lot of his responses to be droll and unnecessary, and often inflammatory and profrane. He has the *ability* to contribute, but not necessarily the desire.

Kick-ass horror movies

"the Jeepers Creepers movies were pretty good too"

My wife and I really enjoyed the first one, but the second was just a rehash.

"I love "when a stranger appears" and "Ring"

The original Japanese Ringu was far superior. The American version threw in everything but the kitchen sink.

"and their #1 was "Jaws", closely followed by "The Exorcist" and "Alien".

I love all three.

"A recent gem I found is John Carpenter’s They Live"

Gem? More like a nugget of coal. The Thing is still his best, but Scanners is a guilty pleasure of mine.

"How about the Horror classics such as Bela Lugosi's Dracula, and Boris Karloff's Frankenstein and Bride of Brankenstein? I also like the early Hammer films."

My neighbor buys the originals. I recently watched "The Pit and the Pendulum". Holy Cow! What a spooky film.

"HOW ABOUT THE ORIGINAL PHANTASM ???"

A cool but freaky movie.

"The People Under the Stairs."

I have that on DVD as well.

I'm more into the spooky movies myself. Stir of Echoes is a fantastic film, and I've always loved The Changeling.

"I managed to upscale and make that turd of a ROTS xvid look decent, maybe we can do the same thing with the X0."

Yes, you did. It looks FANTASTIC!

"I'm confused. Why wouldn't the soundtrack have anything to do with producing the best final product? aren't you doing both at the same time or are you JUST working with video?"

The audio is the easy part. The video is taking up all the effort right now. Chances are there will likely be a version with PCM, but it remains to be seen if creating a 2.0 (or 5.1) soundtrack for a higher video bitrate is worth the effort or not.
