Since they already did digital Leia
Time

in Rogue one, would you guys be for them reusing the technique in Episode IX or other SW films? There was a rumor that Lucasfilm was trying to get the rights to do that but then they shot it down soon as the rumor came to light. Perhaps there was backlash? People didn’t seem to care that much that they digitally recreated Tarkin after he was dead so I dunno why people opposed this so much. She was clearly for it before.

3d Conversions
Time

Well, GL was converting 1 to 3d and I think it may have been finished but then he sold out to disney. Anyway, anyone think it was kinda a waste doing it on 1? It was ill recieved and re-releasing it could have hurt sales for the next one that would have come out probably 2 years later. Heck, 3D isn’t as popular anymore either so we may have never got the OT in 3D. How far do you think they would be if GL didn’t sell out to Disney?

Yet that doesn’t keep you from running around like Chicken Little with her head cut off.

I’m not too happy with Disney turning the franchise into the cinematic equivalent of Sonic the Hedgehog. Churning out a film every year is never a good idea, because you end up with a rushed product. At least in the prequel era we only had to endure one bad movie once every three years.

It ain’t rushed. different people are working on different movies. Probably the only shared staff is JJ Abrahms. 7 and 8 each had 2 years of development. The prequels each had 3 years between each release and look how well that turned out.
