What if they used a laugh track in Holiday Special? Would it be funnier then?

Yeah, I’m in my 30’s but this is the only Star Wars forum/website I go to, so I don’t know all the inside info.

I already knew about pre TFA stuff being non canon now. I thought they stopped accepting non movies as canon now too tho. I guess not. I am worried that wierd things will slip through and the canon is gonna get messed up again.

They changed what is considered canon officially now? Thank God. I knew allowing various authors the ability to write canon would be bad unless they really policed them, like they do in Star Trek.

The prequels had that problem too. Only a few standout songs. John Williams must have ran out of ideas. I still hope he sticks around till 9 so the whole saga can have conformity tho.

I finally started watching the extras on the blu ray. OMG, the menu on Ep IV-VI was so decieving. It has things broken up into sections. I thought they were single documentaries about that portion of the movie but they were actually just a section of the extras. Lots of stuff to watch. I liked the prototype Millenium Falcon and the land speeder. The concept art of Han with a light saber and female Luke was interesting too. Luke and Leia were once gonna be combined, I wonder what that story would have beeen like.

The first thing I did was look up how to watch the cartoon from the holiday special. I really hope lucas film releases the whole special on blu ray someday tho. I like extra stuff with people from the OT. Even tho it’s not that good, it can still be good in a bad film kinda way. Plus it’s more footage of the OT cast in new scenes too. Cartoon was great tho.

I think Luuke skywalker was a pretty good example. The name alone shows how lazy the writers were. I wouldn’t be suprised if it’s pronounced the same as Luke Skywalker. Should have just called him Louk Skywalker. Why did they give him the same last name? He ain’t in the same family right?

Han already showed he could use a light saber in Ep 5. And Leia using one isn’t that far a cry since she’s known to be force sensitive. Chewie using one should not be canon tho. But what’s he gonna do? Hide behind Han? If he’s using a Light Saber that means his gun is out of ammo or damaged or he don’t have one.

He woulda had to pay him more to be in two movies I guess. He may have not known Star Wars merchandise would continuing to sell so well years after they were released so he didn’t know he’d have the extra money after ROTJ was released on home video.

Wow, I just read up on the GOUT. When I get the DVD’s, the movies gonna be in a square in the middle of the screen with black bars all around it? Man, that sucks. I didn’t really know what non-anamorphic meant before. I’ve seen it before tho, when watching non-HD channels sometimes. Sometimes the screen is really small, somethings it’s ok.

Well, they didn’t put the dialogue baloon right above Leia’s head if that’s suppposed to be her talking. They did that for Han tho.

Is chewbacca talking in that comic too? How do they explain that? Must be a dream sequence.

In the scene where Han meets Jabba no position that Han stands in casts a shadow on Jabba. From where his shadow was shown to be facing you’d think when he put his arm in front of Jabba there would at least be a shadow on Jabba from there. Did George Lucas not pay enough for a shadow?

You could always get a vcr for about 20 dollars on ebay. Might not come with a remote, but vcr’s dont have as many features as a dvd anyway. You mostly need to pause it and then rewind it when it’s done. You can get up to rewind it.

Is that supposed to be hayden christiansen when he gets older or something?

The OOT is available pretty cheap on amazon. They were out for a long time so they aren’t even that rare.
