I don’t understand: can’t you play them in an emulator? There’s even web-based emulators nowadays!

You can play it on an emulator but you need to install the emulator, what we did is an independent file to run for itself. My friend made the codes of the program. no need for emulator. Can be play it in Windows and iOS, it´s incredible the programing that Lucasart did for those days!

Me too ! The interface and the Storm trooper Weapons test alone were worth the price alone and the whole 2 discs were a rabbit hole I went down for hours on end . I was just looking at that old original thread that Gary1 linked to . Did anyone ever complete a preservation project of this ?

I DID!!! well My friend and me!

Do you know if there were any box set releases from any other South American countries before the 1997 and 2000 Special Edition video releases?

In other hand, i just aquire the VideoVisa 1988 trilogy on Beta Format, those are very very rare.

Wow - very nice. It would be great to see a few pictures of them, if okay with you?

For those 1997 ans 2000 was the same as in México, in a disclaimer says “Printed in the US and duplicated in México” and some friends i have in Argentina and Chile says have the same box. That means Mexico produced and distributed for all spanish speakers countries.

In other hand, i just aquire the VideoVisa 1988 trilogy on Beta Format, those are very very rare.
I also have the Svideo japanese trilogy 1990

Mexico (Spanish)

There does not appear to have been an Original Trilogy box set release on home video before 1995 in Mexico - though if anyone knows differently please post up some images and information - thank you.

There is a trilogy, not a box set but all three films released in 1986 on Beta format by VideoVisa
