Here is another collection of alternate covers.

Here is another collection of alternate covers.

I don’t plan to reorder that sequence, and I feel the original order makes sense and flows well.
It’s not a bad flow, I just think moving Kylo Ren’s redemption to later gives him more time to think and reconsider. Plus, I kinda think Finn and Poe’s scenes should be reversed before they talk about Occhi. But hey, that’s just my opinion.
Here is a compilation I made for the Rey Nobody version. I’ll also post this to that thread. Let me know if it works.

PASSWORD: faneditOnboard with a restructure similar to this, works well. Have been hoping for Palpatine’s hologram call with Pryde to salvaged with the elimination of Kajimmi destruction I like how it cuts back to the memory restoration scene.
Thank you, Cinefy.
I personally still like moving Kylo Ren’s redemption to later on, as I feel the transition from Rey getting confidence to going back to what has happened to Ben means a great deal. I never really liked how sudden they redeemed Ben, as I feel that having a longer time to think and reconsider makes the scene play out stronger.
Nice editing work, really. However, it might just be me, but that feels like its really jumping all over the place in this clip. Like to the point where things revealed and told to me are harder to keep track of. But maybe the original movie is worse, it’s really been a while at this point.
It originally played out this way:
Poe, Finn and Chewie Receive the News
Kylo Ren’s Redemption
Palpatine Informs Pryde
Destruction of Kijimi
The Resistance Receives the News
Poe Talks to Leia & Lando
Finn Talks to D-O
Finn & Poe Talk About Occhi
Rey & Luke’s Scene
Threepio & Artoo Reunite
Artoo Restores Threepio’s Memory
Resistance Track Rey
Hal removed the destruction of Kijimi from his edit. I also split Threepio and Artoo’s scenes apart and replaced Threepio’s line, “Under no circumstances” with “Full of surprises, aren’t you” (taken from the Lego game). I also added in ariel stock footage of jungle/forest scenery for Ajan Kloss as Chewie cries out.
A year ago, I posted a video to showcase a better way of restructuring the aftermath of Leia’s death. I decided to update it since many of the elements done in the original video are slightly primitive. I know this may not too much since this is your edit, Hal, and you can do whatever you’d like, but I’d still like to at least show it off for everyone to see.

Any work done on the revised Mos Eisley yet?
Hello
Huge fan of Harry Potter and stumbled about on this and was wondering if I could hear these productions??
PM sent!
As of right now, I have completed the first twenty chapters. I’m at least past the halfway point.
I love the idea of fixing the background extra for Mace Windu near the end of The Phantom Menace.
Also, nobody has brought this up, but how would anyone here feel about fixing the look of digitally adding older actors’ faces upon the stuntmen for the Prequels? This was done with both Christopher Lee and Ian McDiarmid. Although there doesn’t seem to be added digital closeups of Dooku, there is a couple for Palpatine that could be fixed.

Also, I think Jarkan managed to improve Shamook’s work on the Luke Skywalker deepfake with the lighting, facial animation and mouth movement.

It seems a little weird that there is a long quiet pause and then Rey says “Stop talking!”
Also, The “Tell me where you are” feels a little weirdly placed.
There’s some audio clipping around 3:00 mark onward through that whole scene.
Yeah, I know about the clipping. I took audio from a sample a user in the Rey Nobody thread used as a pitch and tried mixing it in 5.1. This is just a pitch as well.
Also, Hal said he removed “They sold you to protect you.”
Here is a compilation of scenes for how Rey Nobody can work. Let me know what you all think.

Does anyone here still have the link to that guy who tried doing an impression of Luke saying that line?
I think the idea of the revelation being that Rey is destined to take the Sith throne and kill Palpatine is much better. Also, I believe that some lines still can be used. I’ll try posting a compilation of how the scenes can play out.
Okay, here is just a test sample to get an impression from everyone. I think someone here who is much better at audio manipulation than I am can probably get it to sound much more natural.

I’ll try getting my attempt out as soon as possible.
If anyone is still interested in my attempt, I’m not the best editor in terms of manipulation to audio, but I took Luke’s line, “I’m going to burn it all down,” took “burn” and cut off the last part to mix it in with the “th” part in “death of her son.”
I just updated my editing software, and it will take some getting used to. Sorry about that late reply.
Okay, I think there might be a way to do it. I’m not the best at this, but I looked at Luke’s lines in The Last Jedi. I took the word “burn” from “I’m going to burn it all down” and “myth” from “But if your strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the Jedi is failure.”
If someone can try smoothening this out, we could get “birth” in there somewhere.
Because during the flashback where Luke was training her, the twins were still young, and it is very likely that Ben had not been born at that point. By having Leia end her Jedi training to focus on being a mother, it would make sense to lay down her lessons from Luke. It also makes it seem Ben chose to die rather than it being destined to be.
What if…
Luke: “It was the last night of her training. Leia told me that she had sensed the
death of her son at theend of her Jedi path. She surrendered her saber to me and said that one day… it would be picked up again… by someone who would finish her journey. We’ll always be with you, but this is your fight.”Leia quits being a Jedi, because as it has been explained numerous times, she never wanted to be one. Leia wanted to focus on politics and then dumped her son on Luke later on to train. What if we just make that line about Leia realizing that, being a Jedi is not for her, and someone else would eventually take her spot. In my opinion, it makes her taking on Rey as a trainee even stronger as she believes Rey would be her successor as a Jedi. Just food for thought!
You know what, that could actually work.
Can someone help explain to me why “Leia told me she had sensed the birth of her son” is an improvement? To me, having someone close to you die is more of a reason to cease and desist than having a child being born. Can a mom not be a Jedi too?
Not trying to be rude, I’m just curious how this line change is viewed as an improvement?

Has anyone here heard back from jonh? I feel like it’s been quite a while. I would love for him to export V3 of his Force ghost sequence to us.
Also, I was thinking of giving Luke’s line, “Leia told me she had sensed the birth of her son” a try using the same process they used to get Alec Guinness to say “Rey.” I’ll look through Mark Hamill’s career in voice acting to see if there’s a plausible way to do so.
