Boris, I respect the reason why you come here and I am sorry if I have offended you. Lately though I have been so frustrated from all the news about the quality of the these dvd's. I have been wanting transfers like the 2004 discs but that isn't happening so my temper has been a little high these past few days. Once again, I want to say I am sorry, because I don't want you to hate this place because of me making remarks about you and Lucas. That is not the purpose of this site and I hope it never is.

Let me explain to you the difference between the XO Project and the OUT discs we are getting in September.

XO Project
_________

1. Semi-Anamorphic
2. Cleaned up frame by frame and color corrected to the best of the XO project team's ability.

OUT
_____________________________

1. A straight to disc transfer of the movies from laserdisc with no clean up.
2. Not anamorphic
3. No color correction and no dirt or smudge cleanup on any of the frames that we know of, except what was done on the 1993 set.

Pirates of the Caribbean Two
Time
The story of Pirates 2 was completely based off of ESB.

Jack equal Han Solo who is running from an evil man, and has an equal fate and return.

Davey Jones equals Jabba the hut who is chasing Han Solo just like Davey is chasing Sparrow.

Will equals Luke who falls in love with a girl that he can't be with because it is not possible. Elizabeth isn't his sister but she has the hots for Sparrow thats obvious.

Elizabeth equals Leia who falls for the scoundral Han Solo or in this case Jack Sparrow.

How can you hate this movie when it is formated by a movie so beloved. I think it is just as enjoyable as ESB.

death of star wars

I got this from the Digital Bits and it pisses me off that the OOT isn't getting the same treatment.

" Moving on this afternoon, here's something else that's very cool from Comic-Con. File this as Rumor Mill-worthy, but I learned while down in San Diego that not only is Paramount working to release The Ultimate Star Trek Movie Collection in high-definition on HD-DVD and (possibly) Blu-ray Disc... the studio is quietly remastering all 79 episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series for eventual high-def disc release as well. Paramount also has sparkling high-def masters of all 4 seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise to release on disc. Can't wait to see all of the above!"
