STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
You could have Bail look up and see the death star and drop his head in grief, then you cut to the to the death star firing, and you show the the scene where Bail and Jar Jar get blown up. About slowing the scene down, I think slowing it down would do wonders for the scene.
Plus the Luk's lightsaber is fantastic!

Could Lucas screw movies up anymore (Indy 4)

Maybe it's too 'connected' to Spielberg and Lucas themselves, or to the public consciousness, or something else like that. He also mentions removing 'the offending parts' of it, which is interesting. People tend to get offended over religion the most, so maybe that's the biggest clue that it's another religious artifact or something to do with religion.

By the way, one of the most famous McGuffins was the actual Maltese Falcon. When it came down to it, the object itself wasn't the real point of the film, but it did serve as the thing that moved the story along. And that's the genius of it.

Its not religious, but it would be interesting if that (the Maltese Falcon) WAS what Indy was after in this next movie. Where Boogie, the fat man and Lorre failed, Indy will succeed...or will he?

What is the Maltese Falcon?

Help: looking for... Anyone have COSI Star Wars Exhibit Footage?

Just got back from COSI where I planned to film the Star Wars exhibit. Unfortunately the battery in my camcorder crapped out on me. This is one of the only Star Wars exibits that I've been to that I don't have on film. I've converted everything else to DVD but now I have a piece missing.

Would like to put together a comp of all the exibit/convention stuff. I have Celebration 2 and 3 + Star Wars at the Smithsonium + Star Tours Ride and a few other odds and ends.

What is COSI?

Info: Original Trilogy in HD screening this November!!
Time
Also, the films were filmed on traditional film stock, and the film is still dated so it want be true HD. It will just be upscaled and upconverted.

P.S. HD or not, the SE's still look like crapt. The colors will still be overly saturated, the blacks will be crushed, there will be way to much blue in the picture, and Vader's lightsaber will still be pink.

Editing movies ruled illegal
Time
Courts are getting out of hand. The Judicial system is only supposed to enforce the laws that Congress makes. But no, you have judges like this who think they have the power to do what ever in the hell they want. America's justice system is getting flushed down the toilet. And anyways, George Lucas owns the rights to all Star Wars merchandise so if he doesn't mind people editing his movies it ain't gonna matter what a Judge does.

Thats pretty funny, Zion. Don't worry though, you are not the only one who will be doing this. I can't wait for this system! I think out of all the new systems this one has the most to offer for everybody. It is not overly complicated as the 360, and nowhere near as expensive as the PS3.

The music in the prequels.
Time
I thought the music was weaker in the PT than the OT. However you can't compare Hans Zimmer to John Williams. All of John's music is created naturally by an orchestra while Hans Zimmer's music has a lot of synths in it, that are created by computers. These are two totally different composing styles and as such can not be compared in the same category of music.
