hey TR47 is there anyway you could take a screenshot of another scene... i mean that ones nice and all but it makes the transfer look too dark what with the background and everything...

anyway could you get another done to show the contrast...
i dont know where the edge starts and stops...

okay is it just me or did anyone notice the huge screwup in The Terminator??

so John Connor is the son of Klye right?
and Klye knew John in the future right?
well how is that possible unless Klye came back before the movie and inpregnated Sarah Connor?

Okay i just read the first post here to get an idea what the thread was about so if i mention something already said i apologize.

Lucas has gone off his rocker... i mean first off we know he's gonna be CG which sucks already.. but his name... General Grievous.. (honk honk! now leaving Skywalker Ranch, next stop.. shitsville!)
this is absolutly laughable... first off they introduce a new villian every damn movie so that we dont get to learn or care for the characters and then Lucas, the genious he is, gives them pathetic names like darth maul, darth sidious and darth tyrannus (Lucas is so creative to use the word "Darth" in every villians name! whoooo it call it a crappy way to tie the two trilogies together, which failed miserably!)... now we get general grievous...
this is just my opinion about it.... the reason i didnt visit this thread till now is that i had no clue what it was about... you'd think that a Star Wars character name would draw attention or be obvious... lol
well not in the Prequel gentlemen! here we get grade "A" regurgitation, unesscessary CG and a plot and character developement that is as fantastic as that of Showgirls and Gigli put together!!
AMEN!

im definitly gonna grieve when Grievous enters the Star Wars universe.... or just the prequel universe.. cuz theres no way the two look alike.. lol

Well guys not only has Lucas decided to give us the SE on DVD but he has also decided to create 3 different GAWDY packaging for them...
word on the street is that only one will be used and these images were leaked for a couple minutes on the company site who is creating the packaging...

so with no further ado... i give to you Star Wars...

Thin Red Line was a fantasic war movie...
I still have to check out some other movies which i heard were good... ie. tears of the sun, windtalkers, we were soldiers, black hawk down, pearl harbour....
i dunno i guess these just dont appeal to me that much but can anyone offer me some info if they've seen them...

I think LOTR was totally deserving of all of its awards... i was a bit surprised on one or two but i still think it was the right choice.

anyone mad at the guy who took up all the talkin time so that his friend couldnt say anything?? i think it was for one of the foriegn film awards...
anyway what a a**hole!
your lucky to get nominated for an oscar let alone win one... and he took his friends chance to say something on that stage away from him that he may never get back...

Another thing i wanna mention is how kick ass the movie Underworld was! That movie is now one of my faves... i expected some cheesy stuff from what word on the street was. But wow did it ever exceed my expectations.
