i totally agree...
my grandma was born in germany and during the holocaust she was living in Poland with my mom... (forget where exactly) at the time she was working in an ammunition factory. To make a long story short, they ended up coming to Canada shortly after.... for obvious reasons

but the stories she has about over there is enough to make you turn white...

well the video is about 40 meg...
depending on how slow your connection is, its really up to you...
my computer stays on 24 hrs a day 7 days a week....
so as long as you dont mind waiting...

ahhhhhhh congrats!!
thats one of my all time favorite movies...
i just finished watching one of the special features on the disc "voices from the list"
at first i felt kinda ripped off because it didnt seem like we got any quality special features...(although the movie was enough) but i was completely surprised...

anyone who has the Schindlers List DVD i highly suggest watching the special feature "voices from the list" a VERY powerful piece...

exactly!!!
if they let you think about why he's in that corner... then each person is going to think of the most horrific reason why he "may" be there...
in because of that it really lets each individual person finish the movie for themselves...

just like in Lost in Translation...
everyone has their own opinion on what Bill said....

i like movies which dont give a lot away...
im hoping that the Silent Hill movie is going to do just that...
i would love to see them use the storyline from the second game...

i read through some of the mistakes for ANH on that link and some of them arent even mistakes...
like they say Lukes lightsaber is blue in one scene and then looks white in another...

the reason i liked blair witch was because i saw it almost immediatly when it began to hit local theaters... and I had never heard of it before in my life!!!
so going into it i had no clue what it was about and most importantly i didnt know it was fake!
now i know this sounds dumb but i thought it was kinda like a documentry which shows what happened to these kids...
so when it got to the end of the movie where the camera falls.... chills went up my spine and i literally went home looking over my shoulder every couple feet...
thats why i think i liked it so much... its one of those movies where it works one time i think..
im sure if i watched it now it would seem pretty lame... but thats why i put what i put in brackets beside it!

the shining terrified me as a kid... but now i just appreciate it for it originality...

sigh to the village...
a couple of my friends told me the other day the same thing..
they said it wasnt even worth the money...
but then again people said that about Unbreakable... and i thought it was a damn good movie..
ill definatly wait for DVD though...

i dont know if these can really classify as horror but i enjoyed them simply because they had that really cheesy horror aspect to them...
anyone seen the house or the house 2?
