i am one of the few people i guess who have watched all the special features on the LOTR EE discs... both...
for the most part they were entertaining... but they both had 1 or 2 features which were just awesome...
one i believe was a day in the life of a hobbit...
its kinda unbelievable what the hobbits had to go through for all three of these damn movies..
to be honest with you if i was offered their job i would have definatly turned it down...
if you watch that feature on the disc you'll understand why...

and about commentaries... i've only ever listened to one...
The Goonies.. haha i was with a girl at the time and we knew we weren't gonna do much watching of the movie... so i told her ahhh what the hell lets check it out...
it wasnt as bad as i thought... esp since they had the entire cast available..
but its not something i would do for all my titles..
hell i havent even seen the SW commentaries

anyone here have a favorite DVD?
mine is A. Gleaming the Cube (to those old school forum members you all know why) and B. Memento Collectors Edition (2 disc) which has the most frusterating menus ever... but also the most original
those of you who have seen it know what im talking about

You might not believe Lucas said this...

Granted that the executives have no creative control over the Stooges, but it's not like the executives are forcing one version on consumers over another version. Lucas is only releasing one version; now he may be the creator of Star Wars, but why shouldn't he release both? That's the whole point of my argument. The color in the Stooges shorts is entirely optional; seeing the changes in the Trilogy on an official DVD release is not.

That and popping the DVDs off the trays for the first time. I swore I was gonna break the discs.

I KNOW!!
i still get a bit worried now and then... mine set isnt really worked in yet i guess...
hehe

i've got the first matrix and am happy with that...
i feel they totally killed the trilogy with both the second and third.. but thats just me...

im definatly looking forward to goodfellas...
thats the only dvd i feel would be worth it to re purchase..
i hate the fact that they re-release so many titles when they really dont need to...
