but back on topic i still think its some form of false advertising or misleading the customer...
either way they should not be calling these the Original Trilogy (just for consumer's benefit of knowing what version it is) and they should not be saying these are the movies from 77, 80, and 83...

but ya i kinda agree that it would just seem totally out of place...
its bad enough that the OT and PT dont have the same look to eachother...
if 7,8,9 were done all CG things would just make no sense...
i still doubt Lucas will ever touch the ST...

you really have to give up on this argument...
even in the scene where Ben turns off the tractor beam we hear two Stormtroopers talking clearly with different voices....
and since these take place after the whole clone crap.... its obvious that they arent clones...
and i always compared the Stormtroopers to the SS...
look at the way they walk, march and stand... compare that to the Nazi soldiers and tell me their not identical...

although the Cantina was swarming with aliens and stuff i think we just notice those a lot more than we do humans because its something different...
i mean how many times do we see aliens in a bar??
after all Han was in there, the bartender, the pilot who was talking to chewie at the bar... im sure there were more but i've never looked hard enough...
but then again i could be wrong...
im sure theres more aliens than humans... but maybe not by much...

when u said "It gives it more a of a gritty look, and is used mostly in action movies." i just remember the picture having quiet a bit of grainy sorda scenes (which were done on purpose of course) so i just figured thats what you meant..
they're starting to really do that for war movies... sorda give them a dated look...
