Star Wars DVD Covers

Sorry, I couldn't resist with that great public relations statement in part. Anyway, I have an important question or two regarding all of this. The first is, how should I print these covers? Is there a store I can go to to have it developed? Also, where would I get blank DVD cases, you know the nice ones so I can finally put my OT on a shelf in line with the rest of the DVD's? Any help would be great, I didn't see it covered in the last 10 pages or so.

i suggest having the covers printed professionally...
any print shop will do them...
i've never had any problems anyway..

as for finding DVD cases...
depending on how picky you are, any DVD or electronic store sells them... however they're not nice ones you get when you actually buy a DVD... (not that i've found anyway)
they're usually cheaper ones which have very stiff buttons (the thing you press in the middle of the dvd to get the disc out)
sometimes i think im gonna break the damn disc in half...

if anyone does know where to get nicer dvd cases please feel free to share!

ShuMai WELCOME TO THE BOARDS!!!
and must i say those are some kick ass covers..
i enjoy those because they use the original cover art which is very nice to see...

but Soulflare has covers which really do fit the mood of each film, and are totally new to our eyes...
i must say that these are definatly two of the best covers ive seen..

keep up the great work guys!

It is the perfect teen comedy. The 1997 SE's - My take
Time
i agree with Pagz completely...
except for the new song at the end...

my take on that end song was not so much to end the trilogy... but it was actual music the ewoks were playing...
i mean you see them with drums and all this other crap...
so i always envisioned that as a celebration song that the ewoks were playing in respect to celebrating...

unless they had an orchestra tucked away in one of the huts we didnt see... i still prefer "yub yub"
i feel it suited the scene much better...

You might not believe Lucas said this...
Time
lol
im never gonna leave the boards..
that would just make jimbo too happy!

but i just feel like everything that we're doing is going un-noticed.... by everyone!!!
i mean lets take a step back and say this isnt even about SW...
this film is history whether you like it or not...
and they're are people out there who love Lucas so much that they're missing the whole point...

like shit are people so blind to what he's trying to do...
THEY SHOULD BE TAKING A STAND!!!
cuz one day when the government is telling us what to listen to on the radio and telling us what to watch on the television and people like Lucas are trying to tell us what version of movie we should be watching... they're gonna turn to our last outlet of free speech......

the internet...
people laugh at this... sometimes i dont blame them... but you watch... mark my words... one day... they'll do it!

see what sitting at a local coffee shop and debating life does to you at night.. lol
i may regret this tomorrow..

Wolfman Back In?
Time
but im not saying that Mace is a bad idea... but couldnt they cast someone else...
i mean Sam Jackson as a jedi...
i just cant see it...

but the lightsaber thing is just dumb... thats my honest opinion...
a PURPLE lightsaber????
i mean any other colour would have been better than purple... lol

Remember the thread of stupidest prequel complaints. This one takes the cake.

right because saying someone doesnt fit they're role in a movie is dumb...
or having actors tell the director "I want a purple lightsaber, or else" is dumb...

jimbo you belong in the thread of stupidest posts...

ya i kinda agree with buddy...
we dont need a backstory on every character in the SW universe...

do we have one for Lando or Han?

especially for someone like Boba i think a bit of mystery is good for a movie...

again Lucas seems to think we need EVERY scene and conversation explained in these movies..
and thats just not the case

when it comes to Superbit ive seen some hit and misses...
i still would rather have special features over sound and picture quality when given the differences on superbit...

the only disc i own that i find the DTS to absolutly blow away the Dolby Digital track would have to be Saving Private Ryan...
every other disc i own thats in DTS, i find is still better than the DD track but doesnt really "wow" you...

i usually use Saving Private Ryan as my "sample" disc when people ask what the difference between DTS and DD are....
they notice the difference immediatly

It's not a matter of having an elitist attitude, it's very simply stating that Lucas has been changing these films since the very begining. The language on the tractor beam, C3PO's line that is either in or out depending on which version you see. He has tweeked with these for almost 30 years and sadly will continue to do so. I just find the rants humoruous escpecially when they come from people who weren't even alive when Jedi was released.

semi good point... until the last sentence...
funny how you have no details... afraid we'd notice you weren't born before jedi either?

and the numerous spelling errors definatly brings to mind someone i know very well...

i've been starting to think the exact same thing as Galahad...
i mean i love this site and everyone on these boards i consider my friend...
but when do we call it quits?

i mean we have been around for over a year now and it seems like everyone who had once rallied behind us (digital bits, DVD File) seem to be bending over for Lucas.

i feel like we're soldiers running into battle, and these big websites being our tanks, are beginning to retreat when we cross into enemy lines...
(thats the only way i can explain it)

should we start to run too?
