I truly despise this style of haircut:

It’s just so uneven and ugly, and what’s even worse is that 90 percent of boys at my school have it.

This is a trend that’s picked up in just the past 4-5 years or so and it’s awful. I’m disheartened to hear 90% of your local population has succumbed to it. I don’t even know where it came from.

For reference, this is what people’s hair looked like at my school:

Sup guys

“I’m so sorry.”

What do you HATE about the EU?
Time

It annoys me that Lucasfilm doesn’t declare any material based off The Clone Wars to be purely canon, and not part of the EU, as it contradicts so much previously established stuff. Anakin being Obi-Wan’s Padawan until the end of the war - nope! Asajj Ventress’s backstory - changed! Anakin not having an apprentice - yeah right! Mandalorians being proud warriors few in number - of course not! It works along side the canon timeline, but really messes up the EU.

Star Wars "Official" Canon Content Thread
Time

I read Lords of the Sith, Bloodline, Before the Awakening and the first two issues of the flagship Star Wars comic. All three were good as, with Bloodline being really great, but in general I find the new canon to be less interesting than the EU. And obviously I’ve seen The Force Awakens and Rogue One, which are both good. Oh, and the first season of Rebels which was okay.

A really pretty girl and me are starting to talk more. I might try to go on a date with her this weekend. I’m a pretty socially anxious person so this is encouraging.

I have a crush on this one chick, and we’ve become rather close, but I lack the self confidence to ask her out, which is annoying. It’ll probably not amount to anything, which is a little disappointing.

The Random EU Thoughts Thread
Time

I just finished reading The Approaching Storm by Alan Dean Foster, which is my first foray into an EU novel. The only other two adult oriented Star Wars novels I’ve read are Lords of the Sith and Bloodline, both of which are canon. So anyway, the book was alright, I liked the new characters like Luminara and Barriss, and I even liked Anakin, though Obi-Wan is his condescending prequel self, and the book was kind of boring, the story being kind of pointless. My biggest problem was the constant changes of POV, which happened sporadically, within paragraphs. I.E. Obi-Wan thought… then two sentences later Luminara noticed…, which really got on my nerves. Meh. Not one I’d read again.

War of the Stars II: The Future in Motion (2012)

While I give it points for the interesting narrative, I don’t think it was as fun or as solid an edit as War of the Stars.

7.5/10

Agree completely. It’s still good but doesn’t reach the lofty heights of the original.

I much preferred it to the first. Far more creative changes to the storyline.

Why is Laurie Forman shown rocking out with the gang in the opening credits to season two of That 70s Show?

She was part of the main cast for a couple seasons.

I know that, but it makes no narrative sense for her to be in the backseat with the rest of the gang - minus Kelso, as she is in some shots, because Kelso would be the only reason she’d be there.

Also, most of the books are books I haven’t read since middle school and don’t much care about anymore. I don’t really wanna get rid of them, but fairly soon I’ll start to need more space.

I once held this sentiment in regard to all the Goosebumps and Fear Street books I once owned. I forced myself to overcome it, and you will too!

I watched those episodes. Great stuff.
