The HUD on the screen and the glass animations were flawless, though they do come across as kind of prequelish.
Exactly. Visual continuity.

Plus, in moderation it's not distracting but just interesting to watch light up and jiggle around ^^

Looks amazing!!  Only thing that feels a bit... pointless, I guess... is the text on Vader's viewscreen.  The border is fine, but what's the purpose of that small text on the sides (even being sideways on the right) that would be impossible to read from that distance?

Bwaaa, suspension of disbelief in the sense that Vader perhaps cán see that text trough his helmet (as you know from Ep III, the lenses in his helmet are quite sophisticated).

And I should probably stop watching all those wonderful clips...otherwise little more surprises left (but it's so darn fun!)

About the donations, I know it wouldn't do me any good to donate now, but does it haft to be through PayPal, or can we send a donation through mail? This of course is for the future edits.

First of all you should check with your country's Postal Services if you are even allowed to send cash money by mail. In case you are, you most likely will have to utilize a 'Special Delivery' in which your contents are nót insured for loss/damages.

Long story short: I'd advise against sending any form of cash money by mail, even if your country allows you to.

Donations have been overwhelming. Check out the latest clip from Adywan here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RSu3qz5SmPU

The somewhat long intro is required so that YouTube bots don't immediately block it due to copyrights. The clip itself starts at 0:20. Enjoy!

...It's important to keep the anticipation high, and a good way of doing that is showing tantilizing screenshots and such. The lack in updates and sneak-peaks lately has left me un-excited as such...

In my opinion we've had our fair share of previews and whatnot. The fact that you are familiar with Ady's work from his first edit, and knowing his skills have improved since, should practically guarantee non-disappointment.

Over-saturation is never a good thing. Besides, if/when previews will be shared after a longer period of time, you'll appreciate them even more so ;)

...The thing that I am still noticing, at least in ANH:R was the almost cardboard cut out look of some fx and objects.  For example, many of the explosions in the revisited battle of Yavin have absolutely no 3d shape to them and look and in a way cheesy.  The blue TIE's just make that cardboard cut-out look worse.  The PT, even though filled with terrible CGI, doesn't have this problem.

I think, regarding the period it was made in (meaning the software possibilities at that time) and Ady's knowledge thereof, the results still are pretty (read: EXTREMELY) impressive.

By the time he'll get to ANH:R BD, I guess he'll be able to adhere to your wishes.

I'd like to address another teeny tiny fixer-upper I've mentioned before. It's easily taken care of with trimming a couple of frames:

Around 2:08 in the clip after Lando says: "Everyone is invited of course", you see Han walking up, offering his arm and Leia turning her head towards him. However, in the closer shot the head turning is repeated.

Just curious: Ady, have you already test shot your models by any chance?

changing this by cutting a few frames creates another problem. In the first shot where Leia is about to turn her head, Han is still walking towards her, so you would have to cut the first few frames from the next shot. But, because han hasn't stopped walking at the end of the first shot, this causes him to have come to a sudden halt if you trim the frames. I'm going to leave it as it is.

I understand :) So, how about your models? (They look so awesome)

Personally, I think the choir in the beginning sounds more threatening than sad.

The choirs have not the purpose to sound sad, but mysterious and magic - The sad part is only with Padme's shot. I want here something tourmented and it doesn't work with the real Leia's theme, it's too "beautiful and peacefull"

The edit will be released few months after the blu-ray release

Nice to hear. Would you consider an alternative choir though? Maybe one that sings a crescendo? It now somehow has a haunted ghost sound...

Please let the record show I'm merely giving a personal opinion, a fresh perspective :)

but I have a problem with " I'm glad u chose to serve..." because it's something that should be said in the beginning of the war, not the end...isn't it ?

what do u think about this ?

In my opinion both in the beginning or end would work:

Beginning: Glad he shows the effort of participating.

End: Appreciation because of the good battle he fought.
