In regards to the Bespin lights, my opinion is this: Idea itself is really nice, but as for the color making them blue would kind of defeat their purpose. Since they are warning lights they shouldn't blend in with window lights.

I agree on the 'not making them red', so my best bet would be green. More so since green is the color opposite of orange, so it will definitely stand out regardless of the small size.

ROTJ:

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned it, but one of my personal little annoyances is when the Gonk Power Droid is being tortured by a branding iron to his feet. The irons never connect to the feet, yet the steam shoots up (from little holes in the feet for the effect).

So please:

1. Let the branding iron actually touch his feet.

2. Make it look like the steam is in the 'shape' of the iron (so not coming from small holes)

3. Maybe an afterglow, when the iron rises afterward.

Note that I'll be happy as a clam with only #1. 2 and 3 are mere suggestions for further rounding the effect.

I was just looking at the opening to find that infamous boom mic reflection, but instead I 'saw' the entire crew (right at the point where Luke looks down at his communicator for the "Han old buddy..." line). Is this in fact that shot everybody was talking about?

The visor didn't move, it just looks like that:

At first I thought you had a valid point, but upon closer inspection I noticed the grey 'nose guard' (highlighted in red) didn't change place. It's still hanging above his nose, not on it.

One has to keep in mind that in the first shot we're watching from more of a top angle (to his head/helmet) compared to the second shot. This means Luke's eye seems to be behind the top of the visor (like it would if he had the visor on and was being looked at straight).

*sigh*, I'm always struggling to get my images shown....here's a link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/loconut/4931920517/

I hope this explanation isn't too hard to understand, since it's all due to spatial visualization.

Aren't these scenes in blue depth because on planet is getting late? Han and Luke stay outside over the night so.....

I just checked the CC version, and at the end of the scene where Han is putting the shelter up and the camera zooms out, the area gets darker/more bluish.

The original blue still looks to me like a bad day-for-night effect due to processing.

I think it won't be as bad as you think.

Keep in mind that moving objects always pull your focus. So even though the still might seem 'cluttered' or whatever, in motion that will diminish.

The overall background replacements have been great improvements, and this will be as well.

When Lando tells Leia she "truly belongs with us among the clouds", right after that Han walks up to Leia, extends his elbow, which she takes.

Now, from the wide shot to the closer shot, there is a delay. She turns her head again, and her hand is still coming up in the close shot, even though the wide already showed it.

Easy to fix, and an annoyance less for us nitpickers.
