An improvement, but still not entirely happy. Please don't be campy... Please don't be.

And all I could think about in my head, after seeing the photos, was:

And next the men of the Second Armoured Division regale us with their famous close order swanning about.

Squad... Camp it ... up!

Oooh get her! Whoops!
I've got your number ducky.
You couldn't afford me, dear. Two three.
I'd scratch your eyes out.

Don't come the brigadier bit with us, dear,
We all know where you've been, you military fairy!

Whoops, don't look now girls,
The major's just minced in
With that dolly colour sergeant,
Two, three, ooh-ho!

I don't drink.  I've never smoked... anything.  I've never taken any mind-altering substances.  Well, except for when my wisdom teeth were taken out when I was 16.  That was fun!

Except for the fact that I have an occasional beer or glass of wine, this post might as well have been written by me.  Even the wisdom teeth at 16 thing!

I wish my wisdom teeth would've come out. Mine only show up on X-ray, they're buried in my jaw, and that has prevented me from getting braces. That's why I have crooked teeth.

On more things to bitch about, ever blow your nose in the sink, early in the morning, you feel the booger come out, but can't figure out for the life of you where the hell it's gone? It has happened for the nth time to me this morning, and it's probably gone down the drain. But sometimes I've found the bastards in my fingers, or in my hair, sitting there like they're mocking me... Sodding flying boogers...

I've never tried dope. Some friends have tried to talk me into trying it, but I'm not really interested. From what I understand it makes you laugh and it makes you hungry. I have no need for that, cause I'm already pretty goofy, and also overweight.

Alright, I'm smiling as I say this, and after only a short time.  I can't keep up the joke any longer, partly because I worry about folks who already think I'm too snippy or sensitive, and also because I worry about making other folks feel bad.  Surprisingly, Frink really did ignore me when I teased him, so I wrote him to make sure he wasn't offended.  He told me, "Of course not!" but then suggested we start some drama.  I'm sorry ol' boy, but I just couldn't keep the drama going.  I'm too self conscious of my Christ-like image ;)  Thanks everyone for your concern.

BTW, I have a feeling that someone will continue to play, but I no longer can.

In this link, it says George Lucas originally referred to Star Wars as a "space western."

This completely explains the scene with Han shooting Greedo under the table.  It's straight out of a "Gunsmoke" episode.

But since 1997, George wants us to see "Froofie the dog"... It all makes sense now! XD

As I was born in 1987, I don't know if I have any memories of the '80s. My earliest concrete memory - that of being on an operating table to sew up my big toe after dropping a pickle jar on it - only goes back to 1990; I have no way of knowing if any of the images/impressions I have from the time before that go back much further.

'88 here :-)

March of '88, present!
