Not only is there extra Watto dialogue in the TPM DVD menu and in both the Dreamcast and N64 Podracer games.

Kinda off-topic, here, but... to anyone that's played the Episode I Podracing game, you know when you finish a race and you see the results, on that screen you can hear Watto humming a tune, off key and casually. Is it me or is he humming the "Cantina Music"?
That's bothered me for ages.

I already signed up for the free version...but unless I've missed something, there's no way to broadcast a video unless you are doing it yourself on your webcam.  I don't see a way to add a vimeo stream.

Download manycam, it adds a "virtual webcam" to your system. That way you can select different sources like webcams, still pictures, and of course video files.

Sorry, Frink, uni and many other things got in the way, and that just kinda got left behind. Plus I migrated all of my stuff between computers a couple of times, so I don't even know where the files are anymore.

Just thought this rough clip from my next video was worth sharing.  Some things have been/will be reshot, and some of the effects hadn't been finished, but it's still flamboyantly silly/awesome.

Also, YouTube wouldn't let me post it... :(

Hilarious!

YouTube won't let you? Probably because of the copyrighted song.
I could record a cover version for you, if you'd like, I've had that backtrack in the works for ages!

Which is strange because, surprise of surprises, I got the song *from* YouTube. =P

And I would totally say yes to that awesome offer, but I've already come up with a plan to work around it and have one version of facebook and one version for YouTube.  Thank you, though.

Not at all, Gaff! If you ever need anything of the sort, give me a call.

AOTR will debut with a live streaming event on Saturday, February 23, at 9pm Eastern Standard Time

Details to follow.

One day to go bump!

Incidentally, anyone have suggestions for some pre-movie things to show?

If there was an intermission, I'd suggest this:

Video Games - a general discussion thread

I bought the cheapest used computer I could find--a 2001-era Dell--just so I could run Windows 95 games without problems. It just seemed easier to me. It's a Dell computer from 2001, cost me $20. I know it sounds a bit extreme to buy a whole computer to run vintage games--although no one bats an eye at dropping $70 on an NES--but honestly for $20 it's worth the money, and I'm sure you could find one for free as long as you were willing to go pick it up, I was just lazy and actually found a $20 bill on the sidewalk that week so it seemed fair. It's hooked up to my modern LED monitor and the tower itself is pretty small so it doesn't actually intrude on space. It also runs DOS games without problems.

It's the perfect idea, all things considered, if you do have the space for another tower it's the best alternative to emulation. I think I have an old (working) tower from that same year, I just don't have the space to fit it in my room. And if I didn't have it I could still poke around schools and ask if they have old computers they'd like to get rid of. I remember when I was in middle school the computer lab was made of several old dos machines, with two additional W95's. They probably threw them all away, pity.

I do have an old HP Pavillion laptop, but of course it doesn't have soundblaster emulation, so no fun playing games on that.

And of course the floppy disc drive if you have pre-CD-ROM games like Police Quest.

But try and find floppy blanks......... which I did! I actually found a place that still sells floppy blanks! It's an electronics store near home, and it was surreal seeing those poor 1,44 mb bastards near all those dvd blanks and usb drives. The only consumers I can think of that still have a use for those are midi keyboard users. That's about it.

Is it possible to install a dual OS and actually run your modern computer in W95? I never tried that, but if you were really into vintage PC games but don't want to grab a second computer I would look into that.

I would not really recommend it, Windows 95 won't recognize modern hardware. Wiki says:

2GB is the maximum supported partition size on the 1st version of Windows 95 and OSR1.

and

The maximum amount of physical RAM in a PC that Windows 95 supports is approximately 480 MB

Well, I consider myself a mongrel, Sicily IMHO is the best example of melting pot, we have places with greek names, and traditions and words in our vocabulary come from arabic, french, latin and spanish. We are THE bastard race.

Surely there's some jew in here, as well as some other stuff:

but let's call it a mong-fro and be done with it.

I dunno. This is all the net has to say about it:

I don't think there's much else. If there is I haven't found it.

Afro = African Hairstyle
Jewfro = Jewish Hairstyle

Well the terms were pretty much self explanatory, so I knew that already (but thanks anyway for the explanation), plus I had done research just to make sure how many of these were there. What I really want to know is how are they defined, as in, what makes an afro and what makes a jewfro?

Yours was definitely not an Afro.  This is an Afro:

Great. So was my hairstyle the other one? Or is it something else altogether?

I wanted some change!

I dunno, I wanted a clean slate, plus it had been like 12 years since I had done this.

My family and friends are really attached to the image of Me=Afro (or is it a Jewfro, what's the real difference between the two?) so to see me like this now was at first shocking to them. But, as with everything, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I was actually chatting on Messenger once with an old classmate, and he at one point described me as someone with big hair and a pot belly, he said that's what he'd always remember me by, and it kinda hurt: to him I was just... those two things.
