Who is depressed?

me.

Me too...

I have failed to be productive in many ares of my life over the last year.

I know it is most likely just a temporary funk, but a funk none the less. I mean things are truly sad. I've even resorted to posting generic Google photos as my humors contributions to threads here. But, to be honest and serious. It's mostly out of a shear lack of enthusiasm to create anything. My fan edit work has also stopped.  I'm not about to take the sleeping pills or anything, but I can very much see I am not as engaged as I have been or want to be. Now, a lot of my friends also see this in their own lives and have expressed similar thoughts on the subject. From my personal perspective, this is a golden summer for a lot less folks, then it is.

then it's not just me. it is a sad summer. well, not as bright as I would have wanted it to be. I didn't touch a single book, and next month I've got exams. granny has taken the train to senileville for good. and I'm still... alone... :\

of course there are happy moments here and there. just an hour and half ago me and a friend of mine were watching "The Producers" (the one with Wilder & Mostel) and we had our share of laffs!

If you had your choice, would you have wanted George Lucas to stop after 1977?

I wish he had given up Star Wars to other people after ESB and had concentrated on other things.

He could have stayed around as an advisory voice but his total control over Star Wars has been to the detriment of both Star Wars and his general artistic career.

If you look at his documentary work and his early editing flare it was a loss to art.

Though he has made a lot of money and pushed technology along he has become a bit of a Caligula.

What he said ^

Random Thoughts

again I try to do a c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker and "randomize" the thread

get a load of these. you may have already seen some, of course. many are SW related, and IMHO most of these are brilliant:

Could be worse at least you didn't watch the remakes of The Lady Killers or Edge Of Darkness.

to be honest, I didn't watch all the remake, I just saw a few scenes (I never watch tv anyway), but I had already seen a review, so I was aware of its stupidity.

Also, they remade the ladykillers? as in the one with Guinness and Sellers????

Where's my axe????
