UPDATE

I recently did a fan edit of Roland Emmerich’s film STARGATE and during the process of this project I felt like I was progressing on some things which let me consider changing some cuts and color corrections for Chapters 1 to 4 as well as the two chapters of The Book of Boba Fett which I have already released and which will soon be modified.

THE MANDALORIAN CHAPTER 5: THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE CREED
This chapter contains the episodes of TBOBF (Chapter 5 & 6) whose story I consider to be Season 2.5 of The Mandalorian,
I’ve also included the full flashback of Grogu’s rescue during the purge of the Jedi Temple.

THE MANDALORIAN CHAPTER 6: THE WAY OF MANDALORE
This chapter chronicles Din & Grogu’s journey on Mandalore showcasing the rise of Lady Bo-Katan Kryze. (Chapter 17,18,20), it also includes a portion of chapter 19 (Leaving Mandalore + Tie Interceptor attack), I kept the introduction scene from chapter 21 (The Pirate) with the arrival of the Pirates corsair which concludes this chapter on the destruction of the village on Nevarro.

THE MANDALORIAN CHAPTER 7: DAWN OF A NEW AGE (Part One)
The story begins on the New Republic pilots’ outpost on Adelphi with Greef Karga’s distress message sent to pilot Carson Teva. Follows a first part of the history of Pershing on Coruscant which serves as an introduction to present the New Republic and the Amnesty program until the arrival of Captain Carson Teva to Coruscant, then follows the story of chapter 21 (The Pirate) with the release of Nevarro then that of chapter 22 (Guns For Hire). The chapter concludes with the discovery of the wreckage of the penitentiary shuttle that carried Gideon to a tribunal in the New Republic.

THE MANDALORIAN CHAPTER 8: DAWN OF A NEW AGE (Part Two)
It will be the story of Chapter 23 (The Spies) + Chapter 24 (Unknown Title)

After the broadcast of the last chapter, I decided to keep from this one only the attack of Gorian Shard on Nevarro, the rest will be rearranged for the next chapter “Chapter 7: Dawn Of A New Age (Part One)”.

CHANGE LIST

• This edit open with Din and Grogu in the N1 into hyperspace
• Kalevala is the first planet to be visit by Din & Grogu
• Din’s chair in Naboo N1 will no longer get wet from rain.
• New title text “Chapter 6: The Way of Mandalore” added
• Arrival and landing on Nevarro are now shortened
• The walk through the town of Nevarro is slightly reduced (no Mon Calamari and no little dragon bird)
• Fixed scene where Din greets Greef Carga, some Carl Weathers mouth movements can be seen on a shot while no words can be heard (maybe sound editing error…).
• Less “Not in my school” lines during the confrontation with Vane and his gang.
• The Anzellan workshop scene is restructured.
• New Naboo N1 sound effects are added during space battle against pirate fighters.
• Added subtitles to the Rodian who brought his speeder for repairs in Peli’s workshop.
• The journey on Mandalore is STRONGLY restructured and reduced.
• The Mandalorian ceremony of Ragnar’s baptism is added after the dogfight scene with TIE interceptors (no Crocoturtle)
• Some slight tweaks/cuts here and there (so many details to all be listed)
• New wipe transitions added
• New score added

I am aware that it is possible that the cuts and few changes I have made may need to be revised when Season 3 has fully aired.

Please note that this chapter does not contain Penn Pershing’s story from “Chapter 19: The Convert”.
These scenes are kept for the story of my next chapter, to your consideration the entire story on Coruscant will take about thirty minutes. I hope to be able to split this story into 3 parts between scenes from the next chapters that will be released soon on Disney+.

I don’t know if Ronster has plan to release his fanedit soon.

I only use from his work some footage from a video compilation he made. I also use its whormhole travel through the stargate.

There was another scene from SG1 they took from the film it Just has a computer screen with James Spader and says “last known location - Egypt”

STARGATE (1994) - HORUS EDIT

This edit was made to make that the original “Stargate” 1994 movie from Roland Emmerich can be adapted with the tv show “Stargate SG-1”.

I have read the early script of the movie and some information in there was important to decide what will be cut or edited in this project.

The major changes are:

• New opening introduction
• New score added and sound effect mix
• New title text added to indicate some locations
• New subtitles.
• New color correction (the existent Blu Ray grades are bad)
• The three moons on the matte painting with the pyramid apearing on two scenes are been replaced.
• The Stargate now looks like the one in the tv-show with the light on the chevron.
• Some deleted or alternate scenes/shots was added in the best quality possible.
• Some scenes has been rearranged to make a never seen before viewing experience.
• Some Daniel’s cringe moments was cut.

I leave you the surprise of all the other things who was changed.

I need to tell that the big search works was made by the member @Ronster, his project give me the idea to make a new cut of this movie. I used some rare archives who came from its work.

Also, the color grading is a bit on the hot/overexposed side. For a show that seems to lean hard on Rec.709, maybe try going in another direction, pull back on the highlights maybe.

What are you editing on?

For me it’s not a real problem because on the travel to the carcass Cobb tell it’s story to Mando and where/how he got the armor, by this way he can thanking Mando because he appreciate the fact he doesn’t kill him for that, I hope you’ll understand my point. And the meat carcass can be explain with the “Obi Wan Kenobi” show, it’s not a problem.

Meanway, I think about the possibility of re-insert the original sequence.

Yes, I incorporated a deepfake of Luke which was shared on this forum several months ago, I had downloaded it in order to have an acceptable version when I would come to finalize this project to change the original livid look of Luke .

By the way, if the creator of this Deepfake recognizes his work by viewing chapter 4, I would be happy to credit him for his work.
