Just very curious, does anyone care for a Remastered End of Evangelion, with English 5.1 and both 5.1 DD and DTS Japanese? This is all sourced from the Renewal set. THe DTS if full bitrate also....you know what that means!

I got the full length Intro and Outros from the Test type DVD in 5.1, if you want them let me know!
I checked the currupted dvd to salvage parts, but the image quality on these two videos was not all that great.

I could care less about a 5.1 track, 2.0 sounds good enough for me! There is no need for that, as for just an anamorphic treatment, good! I could care less for a remaster, as long as it anamorphic, I can live in nostalgia. This is to be the way we remember them! The only thing that bugged me was the anamorphic thing. If this is all true, for me atleast, my bitching is over! I am getting what I want!

The soundtrack and the N64 game are worth it, the book is good on some parts, lame in others. The skyhook battle in the game rocks!

Dood, I would assume that the reason why is simply because LOTR fans get both versions in high quality. While SW fans get crap as bonus features to represent the OOT.

To me Sith was just that, the best of the prequel trilogy, nothing more. I take it like the End of Evangelion, an alternate ending, but in this case an alternate begining.

9.75 gb, took me three hours to get.
It was great on HBO very detailed and non realistic, now its added to my HD collection along with EP2....

One more thing, at HDbits they have upped the 720p version 4.4gb, just fyi.

I guess ADV is not getting my money for this, I already own the Full Platinum and the Manga Movies, and both the 5.1 and DTS Remastered Versions of the movies from Japan.....yeah. Maybe they really do not need my money after all I spent, lol!
The live action movie, I really do not know if that could work out. 13 plus hours condensed to 6 hours, if done perfectly it might work. Well this is better than the DBZ rumored movie back in the day, which of course was Wednesday!

If the new boxset had the remastered movies, I might consider buying it just for the english dub and for collection! I highly doubt that though, anyone know if manga still owns the rights for the movies? If not I am happy with my DTS collectors edition from Japan. Thanks for this dvd! I have been dying to own some sort of extras for this Series!
