Two-Face (A Batman: The Animated Series Movie) (* unfinished project *)
Time
Musicman, sorry I didn't get back to you about the title card thing, been a bit busy with school.

Photoshop would probably be best for the title cards since they're essentially still images

With After Effects you can just drop in a still, fade the credits in and out however you want, and export it as an avi of whatever length you want.

Man you have got to get ahold of these programs!!

Anyway I've got the cover art I mentioned just about done, if you want to PM me your Email adress I can send it to you via yousendit dot com

Of course you will need Winrar or some such thing to unzip the file.

Two-Face (A Batman: The Animated Series Movie) (* unfinished project *)
Time
I'm no expert but that Two-Face title card font looks quite a bit like "Steelfish," the same lettering used for the credit blocks on a lot of movie posters and DVD covers.

Anyway I'm psyched to see this, I would really like to experience the story without the fade out/fade ins, closing credits, opening credits and previous episode re-caps to distract me.

Any plans to keep going on this? There are six more two-part episodes of Batman, not to mention five Supermans and the first two seasons of Justice League!

I have actually been thinking about something like this for a while now, as I have been learning quite a bit in Aftereffects. I want to try painting out those cheekbone lines on Superman's face in the first two seasons of JL- the ones he didn't have on Superman: TAS and no longer has on JLU.

There may be a few other continuity fixes somewhere in there, too, for instance the Batman Beyond-era batcave backgrounds used in "Starcrossed" create some questions.

I've also toyed with the idea of trying to insert Robin and Batgirl into that big group shot from the first episode of JLU. I'm still pissed they never got to be on the show.

Anyway I'm sure most of this will remain my personal pipe dream, but hey.

FAN EDIT REQUEST THREAD - Post your dream Fan Edits Here!
Time
Actually I have a dream fan edit. Something I thought of after Stark Trek: TMP Director's Cut came out, when I thought there might be some tweaking done with Wrath of Khan. It's perfect, you say! It doesn't need any tweaking!! Well that's more or less true, but there's one thing that bugs me every time I watch the flick, it's that crappy matte painting of the Genesis planet viewed from space at the very end, followed by that montage of plants intended to show that Genesis was now covered with trees, which would have had to grow in, like, an hour. The whole thing could be replaced with a cool CG shot of the Genesis planet, with maybe a sunrise coming up. That and Nimoy's voice-over would be enough to imply Spock's re-generation without, I don't know, feeling so dang tacked on. Alternately, if someone were really good at SFX, you could have a sort of zoom-in on the planet, through the clouds, similar to the existing sequence, flying over the Genesis landscape, maybe with some LITTLE plants just starting to grow, and end on Spock's Casket. You guys are the experts, what do you think of that idea?

Why Boba Fett is now bunk
Time
Boba Fett was a mysterious badass in Empire. A guy who was wise to Han's land-on-the-hull-and-float-away-with-the-(rest of the)-garbage-maneuver. A guy who Darth Vader felt he had to remind, "no disintegrations." A guy with the balls to challenge Vader when he says he's gonna freeze Han. Vader doesn't even choke him to death, just promises to make up for it with money!! I always figured, as soon as he drops Han off with Jabba and gets PAID, he'll be off on some other mission. Sadly, as of ROTJ, Fett had been reduced from a mysterious bounty hunter to a guy with nothing better to do than stand around Jabba's "palace" all day, watching slave girls get fed to the rancor, and rocking out to Sy Snoodles. Then Han gets to kill him--by mistake? Fett goes toe to toe with Luke, only to die because he evidentally doesn't know how to work his own jet pack. To top it off, the sarlaac belches afterward, reducing Fett's death to comic-relief status. The Jabba scene in ANH only further ruins Fett's credibility. He's no bounty hunter, just one of Jabba's henchmen. Boba Fett should never have been in ROTJ to begin with, much less become a key player in the prequels. It shows a certain amount of desperation on Lucas' part, to go out of his way to write Fett into the PT because he knew Fett was popular with the counter-culture/cult SW fans. If GL wanted to preserve Fett's cool, cult-y status, he should have just left it alone. But I guess that just ain't his strong suit, is it?

Lines you thought they said...
Time
Here's mine: In ep 4, when Han's packing up his loot at Yaavin, Luke says something like, "take care of yourself, Han. I guess that's what you're best at, isn't it?" Well as a kid, I thought he was saying. "I guess it's your best that isn't." I figured it was some sort of grown-up insult that I didn't understand, so of course I tried it out on my mom one time when I was pissed about something. I was probably about 8 at the time. Anyway she looked completely blank and asked me what I was talking about. I felt dumb. Also when the Jawas open up the sandcrawler and 3PO asks R2, "do you think they'll melt us down?" I could never figure out WHAT he was saying.

What species is Yoda anyway?
Time
Hi guys. Practically my first post here. I believe I posted once, a few months back...
Anyhoo, at the end of Phantom Menace, isn't there a freakish looking dude standing around near yoda, who's short, with very yoda-esque ears, but he's caucasian-flesh colored, as opposed to green? I remember thinking in the theater, dear god, is that supposed to be another member of Yoda's race? Well, how about it?

Worst changes to OT in '97 and '04
Time
Hey guys, I'm new here. Anyway I grew up on the OT and I think the worst addition is the Jabba scene in ANH. As others have stated, the conversation is pretty much a reiteration of everything we just learned in the Greedo/Han scene. Even if Jabba looked great and "you're a wonderful human being" was funny, it would still be a useless scene. Second worst is greedo firing first. I also don't care for the wacky goings-on as we enter mos eisley. I ALSO don't care for the "musical number" in Jedi...I remember when I first heard "Lapti Nek" was being replaced, I was like, "good, that sucked." Little did I know it was about to be replaced with something 10 timed suckier. Actually that's probably the worst addition, it just doesn't weaken the movie that much because the thing it's replacing was already bad.
