EDIT A really nice man thus goes by Cian on YouTube says he can hook me up with the Full Live Aid Sequence and I thank him dearly, after searching everywhere for the Full Live Aid Sequence I found Cian and he has the scene, and it will be used in “The 85 Cut”

I’m looking for the Full Live Aid scene right now and it’s very tricky to find, but for now it is still being worked on to make sure this is the best possible quality for 1.0, so I’m still working on it at the moment
That is so cool man, how did you get it in 2K, or did you just get it from the 4k Blu-Ray, is it an Upscale? I love learning things from others and how they made these projects!

4K77 4K No-DNR and 1080p No-DNR and 1080p DNR. For 4K83 there is the 4K Version that is all on 1337x, I had to get 4K83 1080p on MEGA
That looks pretty good, I like how you did not go overboard with the DNR and have a faint Grain “layer” on it, it looks really good, the colors look great, I compared with my DVD using my Laptop and the colors are spot on, It does not need any more color corrections, all I can say is the colors look pretty accurate, you did an amazing job cleaning this up, spot on man! EDIT: What I mean by the fine grain layer is you didn’t go crazy with the DNR and make the image soft like some studios do
I’ve rendered a second version, but after viewing the video on my Huawei P20 phone via Chrome Remote Desktop, I decided to experiment with the saturation.
What do you guys think? More, less or none?
There is too much noise on the frame, and the colors are too vibrant and bright, I think you should lower the saturation some, but overall it looks very good 😃
You can keep working on this and then make a v1.5 or v2.0 in the future, make better upgrades to it later on, that’s what I’m doing for my fan-edit of Bohemian Rhapsody, I’m just going to add the full Live Aid scene in it and later on I might do some color corrections and more enhancements to make it better
It’s new and I haven’t worked all of the kinks out of it quite yet. Once it’s they way I like it I will release it. I should have some time next Tuesday to record a video tutorial to explain all of the features and how to use it.

It’s as close as you can get for quality since PAL is a bit higher than 480p, but lower than 720p and 1080p, and the NTSC DVD is only in Full Screen and the PAL DVD is Widescreen

That’s pretty cool, I have the 2000 NTSC DVD, and I don’t like how the PAL get’s the original Widescreen presentation and us here with NTSC get a Pan & Scan 4:3 version, So I’d very much like to see this when it’s done

I hate the Blu-Ray editions, the only time I bring them out when “VII, VIII and IX” come out and do a marathon before the I go see the film, but instead of him making the Shudder Special Editions the only version available he should have made a version where you can change what version of the film you want to watch, like you can click on your Blu-Ray remote between the “Theatrical Cut” and the “Special Editions” as I would pick the Original Release because that’s the better version, but now we have the best versions now other than the Despecialized Editions, we have 4K77, 4K80 (coming soon) and 4K83 by our side now, so we don’t have to worry about the Shudder Special Editions anymore! I enjoy watching 4K77 and 4K83 and soon 4K80 on my Samsung 65" 4K UHD TV and I thank you all for making this possible and hope to make the horrible Special Edition cuts obsolete some day!

When the Live Aid scene comes into play it will be cut and then the full Live Aid scene will play, and at the end, back when they started filming the movie that was the first scene they did, they recreated the whole 21 minute Live Aid sequence, but when they released it in theaters, they cut up Live Aid sequence due to time constraints and poor production planning.
So this Fan-Edit will have that whole scene intact in it and may have a few things that suits this film but they didn’t do, like the Fox logo for example, they didn’t use the older one, 1981 or 1977, they used the current one, but in the Greatest Showman they used the older logos, but Bohemian Rhapsody didn’t, so I may add the 1981 Fox logo and the 1994 Regency logo in v1.5, v1.0 is just has full Live Aid performance, and after I will start working on v1.5 when 1.0 is done, so in the end this will suit as the “Extended Cut” Unless we get more deleted content from the movie afterwards.
I may release different versions or updated versions to make this Fan-Edit better along the way of the film, like color corrections, or just if they give us more deleted scenes I’ll add those into the movie and release another version, but for v1.0 it will use 2.0 English Dolby Digital and the full Live Aid sequence, in v1.5 it may include a few more enhancements like Color Correction or new opening logos, This Fan-Edit of Bohemian Rhapsody will get updated in future versions when this project grows. I hope you all can be patience with me for my first fan-edit ever!

What shots from the Blu-Ray we’re used for 4K77, it says on the 4K77 page and I quote " Finally, about 400 frames that couldn’t be sourced from anywhere else at the time they were needed, were upscaled from the official Blu-Ray." I was wondering what scene interpreted these frames
