I have a bad feeling about this.

It's going to be interesting to see how it turns out, Wierd that they've gone with a style somewhere between cartoon and realistic. Oddly Mace is the only one who actually looks like he should - whereas in the 2d toons he looked pretty different.

I'm hoping that's not what the sabers will look like 'in series' - Horrible! If so we might as well start planning fan edits now. I guess we'll see where this leads. Bring on the BTS updates!!

Guess what Ringo's been watching?

There will be video clips at some point just please don't ask me when. I work on this in my spare time.

The introduction of ventress will play out before the main titles. And hopefully in a way that is interesting Yet still makes sense. That way we don't halt the main story to Introduce her before continuing on again. Also it seemed that she tracked down Anakin pretty damned quickly in the original timeline of events.

I've just about done this sequence. I went so something a lot simpler than i had originally intended so it's not quite as cool bt still looks good IMO.

Well now, That's hard to say. I think the point was that they were fairly evenly matched. although I'd say that Peter may have the advantage of being able to heal himself. Interesting to see Sylar with ice hands vs Peter with fire hands - which I'm guessing is from Meredith Gordon.

A little reminiscent of Ice man vs Pyro rivalry in xmen. Or is it just me?

Glad you've caught up, I've been enjoying the discussion here that's seemed to be snowballing.

Sylar did try to pop off Peters head once already. "I can't wat to try that one..."

You are right about the clocks as we saw when he knew Suresh' watch was broken. He also used a similar anaogy to describe Brian Davis, Something along the lines of "You're broken, But I can fix you".

And in regards to Peters ability to leech any number of powers we have seen hints of this already. Foremost when he began to overload when training with Claude - in the street after landing on the Taxi.

Lordjedi - I should have been clearer, I meant the first time peter died - at the homecoming. I was implying that YES things at the homecoming did happen as laid out in Isaacs paintings. At least for the most part, if Mebejedi is correct...

Well Sylar had to have been special before he killed Brian Davis - We know he can see how things work. Obviously his body allows him to absorb these other abilities but is that his 'power' or simply a side effect. Chandra had labeled him as 'Patient Zero' But we can't be sure at what point. We don't really know just how much Chandra did know. He was made aware by sylar that he had some form of telekenesis [after sylar killed brian] but that's all we really know for sure.

Everything we've seen indicates that he has to kill a person to get at what makes them special - which according to Suresh [both] resides within the brain. But here's a question - Why did he go to such risks to abduct Molly Walker? Why not just kill her?

In case you forgot, Sylar was not affected by freezing time.


He was - Time resumed before Sylar grabbed the sword. Notice that his mother had been frozen in place as she fell. Time resumed as hiro swung the sword and she continued to fall to the floor.


IIRC (I'll have to go back and watch to double-check), I seem to recall that there was a painting showing the cheerleader on the steps with "Sylar" looking down on her, but when it came to that point in time, it was Peter in that actual position. I swear I remember pointing this out to my wife.


There were 2 separate paintings. 1 of peter lying dead or dying in front of the clock - this was the initially missing panel. the other was a cheerleader [thought to be claire] lying dead with sylar standing over her - it was the painting that peter finished via tapping into isaac's ability.

Is this what you meant or something else?


The future can be changed. Even Isaac told Sylar they will stop him. I doubt he was referring to the "future" that Hiro just came back from. Otherwise, why not just let things run their course?


Yes but i think Isaac's plan did involve Hiro traveling to the future [that future] and back again, for some reason. He told sylar he was going to 'show them how to kill you' - Given that he wasn't going to survive the encounter he had to have already planned something out - ie: the comic book pages or the sketchbook.

Also, we could say that the events in texas circa 'homecoming' played out as isaac had foreseen - even tho that's not how the visions / paintings were interpreted.

Peter died - they didn't know Claire would / could resurrect him
The dead cheerleader is jackie - not claire. We cant know if at any point this was to be claire.
Hiro and Ando were there - just not at the same time.

Let's all go re-watch and reconvene.

Ah, yeah well. I hadn't read that. Makes sense now. I guess we can only hope. I stand by what I'm guessing will happen, But i'm not stating that is what will happen or what I want to happen, Just the way things feel at the moment.

Either way we know something big is about to happen.

Season 4 is going to be a straight run with no breaks though, right?

One cool thing about the micro series format is they can do these little cut away stories like Kitt fisto under water and Mace battling it out on dantooine, However in the long run they seem a little out of place and don't seem to have much to do with the core of the story. What are peoples thoughts about these segments?

I know there is some negativity towards Mace and his over the top antics but ive got some ideas to try make that more enjoyable. And for reference i've removed Yoda's reference to "master windu still fights on dantooine." which could have helped. Although it may be possible to reincorporate that dialogue elsewhere.

also Note that there wont be any narration at all from yoda. The story begins proper with the battle of muunilist. certain elements from the opriginal first chapter will be cut and pasted elsewhere.

We have to take anything we saw / learned in "five years gone" with a grain of salt. But one thing we did learn was that Future Hiro had altered the course of events and the city still blew up.

Peter may control / supress Ted's power if he can concentrate - There's no guarantee that anything will happen without the presence of Ted.
Peter has a backup plan - Claire is to shoot him to prevent him from blowing.
Sylar has now embraced the idea of blowing up the city - Standing on a rooftop with 'ted' hands "Boom!"
Nothing Isaac painted proves the identity of the exploding man. Keep that in mind.
Peter dreamed of flying - He also dreamed of talking with Charles - Who was comatose.

All i'm saying is that at this point we can't know for sure.

Isaac has been kind of spot on but some of his works are open to interpretation i guess. I'd have to say that nothing is set in stone and the future can be changed. Given that Hiro set in motion a series of events with "save the cheerleader, save the world". Also in 'Five years gone we stil have no real proof' - only what the characters sa and believe.

Hiro wasn't training to fight! He was training to detatch from his emotions so that when the time comes he will be mentally able to make the killing strike. He has no need for combat training - He can freeze time and space - as he often reminds us. He already had Sylar at his mercy once but he hesitated and lost focus. Had he been in that same encounter now I'm sure things would have played out very differently.

The only thing we know for sure is that Ted is not [any longer] the exploding man. Peter and Sylar both have the potential to destroy the city. I guess we'll know in 4 days [Approx].

Actually I was just on my way here to announce that yes, Progress is picking up again. Nothing really new to show - I'm still working on the same stuff. I might have some completed segments done soon. I could have got back into this a little sooner but I'm going at a pace where I can actually enjoy working on this thing.

Ah, mine TPM is a R 2, I have never seen a R 1, that would explain the difference. My AOTC is a R 1 though, and I am pretty sure its titled STAR_WARS_EPISODE_II or something of the sort. Are there any AOTC discs named Mary?


My Tpm discs are 'Laura' as well. Pretty sure my others are all normal.

I was under the impression that Sylar replaced Nathan after he became president. That would make all predictions true.

Sylar told claire that he met a special girl who allowed him to become president. I took this to mean Candice which would allow him to be Nathan - the president.

Also in Isaac's loft Sylar/Nathan said "...I know how things work!"

I had to watch the episode twice to take everything in. The clues are there if you know to look for them.

surely if Isaac had painted Sylar as Nathan in the whitehouse himself, it'd have looked more in line with what sylar painted.

I was worried that it may be a throw-away storyline, having no bearing on the proper story/time-line. Interestingly it seems to tie in with Isaac's vague references of what is to come. As tho what happened in in the episode was part of his "...not before i show them how to kill you" plan. We know by now that if Isaac draws something then in some way or another it will happen.
