Though Frink is right, his comment didn’t add anything not already obvious, to the discussion. There are others here that have lost friends or family this year too. Not everyone chooses to share that detail of their lives here for our own reasons.

I do this as well. I watch it as a stand alone set that I consider separate from the OT. Besides, watching different Laserdisc versions of Star Wars movies is pretty fun when you own the equipment to do so.

To me, history should be preserved as a reminder of what once was, to help move us forward. I watch stuff with my daughter and we discuss it. I find, for me, that this works best. I mean I just watched a documentary about the Vikings and how brutal they were. They took slaves, slaughtered people for conquest, and I don’t hear anyone asking for the heads of people descended from the Vikings.

Human beings are not perfect and we certainly have a ways to go. Erasing history to serve the purpose of a few just doesn’t fly with me.

The only thing I noticed was at the very end … the bottom quarter of the picture (the island shoreline and ocean). It was as if the bottom part was moving a little ( a side to side shake) is what I noticed. It wasn’t huge … just enough to notice but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the project.

You did an excellent job on the entire reconstruction.
