I don't like having to point this out but there are terrorist organizations with factions in that part of the world and they usually go unhindered by local authorities. Having airplane parts would probably be most useful to them.
I guess I was speaking more as a society, sorry to confuse. Fame, to me, isn't always about how many people who know you. My grandfather was my hero as a child. I was devastated. I did not know until later that he made an impact not just on me but my mother and my aunt & uncle (on my dads side). I know we'd have a list a hundred miles long .... it just bums me out. I guess I was venting more than anything.
