i need a cover for this release please
Next time, find another place to beg, please?
My issue with the PC culture is that a lot of people who practice it, use it to side step what it is meant for, while saying they believe in and stand by what it was designed for. They white-wash (maybe black-wash, girl-wash, boy-wash, and what not too) everything they say to deceive people and hide their intentions. Telling it like it is pulls no punches and leaves room for people to be themselves while learning about others and finding a common middle ground in a world that can still be unforgiving no matter what PC thinks it’s bring to the table.
Are you saying that “PC Culture” (whatever that means) is some sort of kabal that is trying to… something?
I don’t believe that is what I was saying as I didn’t indicate the entire culture … just some.
You seem to be not answering my question here. I’m just trying to get at what you were saying about “PC culture” since I can’t seem to understand what you were getting at.
I do believe that politically correct language seems to be designed to “not” hurt peoples feelings instead of dealing with the issues people are being hurt by to begin with. Being hurt is part of our existence. We as people are meant to learn how to deal with them best to make things better, not create some sort of alternate language to suppress that healing process by making everything sound sun-shiny.

I’m not a misogynist or a racist, and PC culture can go to hell.
100%+100% agreed.
I can assure that I was being totally sincere. I just want to make sure that you are in a non-hostile internet environment, and I don’t want to hinder that. As such, I will not talk about the topic from this point on.
You started this thread mang, now you’re stuck with it, so you might as well keep the discussion moving so you may find the answers to your query.
My goal with this thread wasn’t to “look to meet girls,” it was to increase the people on this forum who aren’t men.
However, has this thread has played out over the past twelve hours, it seems that it is failing miserably at that. That is why I proposed to lock the thread in an earlier post sense there seems to be no further room for discussion on this topic.
You refer to guys as “men” but the word “female” is too clinical for you? I’m thinking you’re just younger than me due to your use of the term “girls” to describe females or women.
This could be part of my confusion with your insistence on specific terminology due to your aversion to the “clinical” version.
I would like to say that I am using the phrase “women and girls”.
If this topic is making you uncomfortable I can stop discussing it.
I am as uncomfortable discussing this as you are insistent that the word “female” is too clinical for but the word “men” is not.
You may discuss whatever you like, this is off-topic.
I appreciate your concern if that is what you are expressing for whatever reason. If you were being sarcastic, no need to be, this is a discussion.

What is this mythological age limit I keep hearing about?
Not to mention that never stopped anyone from…gee…lying?
Ever since I first signed up here I always thought there was an 18 and older clause. I may be wrong. Now, lying on the internet, easy as pie and thoroughly over-rated.
There is this from the Terms of Service link at the bottom of each page …

So it’s 12 years of age and under that cannot sign up or be a member here. So technically, those who fudged their birth date information to sign up can have their accounts suspended and/or terminated at any time.
It may be that we’re doing certain things on this forum that are detracting women and girls. And, we also have to find a way to encourage women and girls to post.
There is an age limit for signing up here so what criteria are you using “women and girls” when you reference them as members?
I don’t like to use the term “female” sense it seems a bit clinical and cold. I want to include people of all age groups.
I don’t believe all age groups can be members due to the age limit.
We have plenty of boys here so I don’t see the issue.
There is an age limit for a reason and the connotation of “boys and girls” over “men and women” could cause other issues. This is the internet, not the local summer school, and I would certainly not want to be affiliated with a place that could end up being harmful when the mix of adults and children on an internet forum happens.
Just my two cents.
Guess you should stop your affiliation. We already have plenty of minors around here.
I am unaware of any minors here. If there are and they have made it openly clear that they are minors they probably shouldn’t be allowed to stay. If Jay has allowed it then he has obviously accepted the responsibility. Since I am NOT looking for dates here I have no need to take any personal stock in your suggestion that I stop my affiliation, whether kindly stated or not.

Some people identify more with the term “girls” than “women.”
So why not female fans then. It doesn’t suggest a difference of age and it is gender specific. 😃

Captain America: Civil War … Very Cool
Krampus … Very Cool
X-Men: Apocalypse: Cool
SET 1 - A mix of several elements I’d used from this site - Thank you to everyone especially the designs provided by RonLim, and whomever made the VHS and widescreen sleeve designs that were so perfect. I added several new elements, retouched / replaced some of the images for color balance, and based the slip case off the laser disk box
SET 2 - My favorite covers from the widescreen vhs days with manga insides. These also had insets i’m not showing.
SET3 - based on laser disk sleeves
THESE look great!!!
That’s Jay’s call to make. And excuse me for having a life.
I’d nominate Frink if I could. 😉
You gotta be drunk. 😉
Hmm.
I’m sure Dek_Rollins learned his lesson anyway.
But seriously it is funny that they said they were imperialscum, since impscum is the only person in recent memory to post anime pictures/gifs. Coincidence? Probably.
I see shitpickle2 finally got the gauntlet. I guess we’ll see what pops up next round these parts. I don’t think this “sock war” is over just yet … seems like it’s just getting started.
I am imperialscum
Why would a regular create a sock to go after imperialscum? Especially one named after something nasty with a number 2 designation … who around here is shitcucumber1? Weird for sure.
You missed the original shitpickle early this morning.
Gotchya, bummer. shitpickle is a funnier name than shitcucumber but all the love these 2 showed for Frink and imperialscum makes me sad that we might have regulars that resort to this petty crap and may not get slapped for it. The whole thing was pointless.

I enjoy and respect the Donner version. They did a great job with what they had and considering he wanted to make sure Christopher Reeve’s talent was showcased was all I needed to feel this way. The Lester cut does have some moments but considering his wasn’t entirely finished and he had access to everything that had been done up to that point gave him a pre-built basis to work from, including the talented actors, that were loyal to Donner.
