Yes the scene must be placed before the medal throne room..definatly. I did feel the Order 66 reference did feel stupid..so I went back and renamed it to "The Jedi purge is now complete".

Just in case you guys don't know...DON'T ADD YODA TO ANH!!!!!!

DARTHFINGERZ at the force.net wrote a script for a new scene in ANH, at first you'll say to your selves you guys are dicks and a new scene in ANH would suck but hear me out for a sec....

I managed to tweak the script a bit and hope that will tie in with Empire's 2004 DVD holo.....



Note...that DARTHFINGERZ's is the guy you want to shake his hand. 90% of the script is his and 10% I've tweaked




NEW SCENE: "Vader's Return to Coruscant"

EXT. CORUSCANT - RAINY NIGHT SKY

In the distance we see Vader’s shuttle
flying downward through vast clouds formations.

EXT. IMPERIAL BASE

Thunder and lightning strikes as it
pours down heavily onto the Capital
planet. Vader's damaged shuttle docks
upon a watery landing platform.

INT. IMPERIAL BASE - MOMENTS LATER

The sound of the rain is prevalent
as it is heard through open areas along
the perimeter of the base. Droids,
stormtroopers and personnel are
visible as they scatter about.

Hovering beside Vader as he walks is a
holographic transmitter displaying the
ominous form of Palpatine.

(Palpatine)
Lord Vader, the destruction of our battle station,
and defeat at the hands of a
pitiful band of rebels. It would
seem...this so called alliance
has shown greater resolve then
I had foreseen.

(DarthVader)
Yes, master.

Vader continues walking slowly as the
holographic transmitter follows beside
him flickering out slightly.

(Palpatine)
We have lost a great deal.
(a beat)
Governor Tarkin is not as easily
replaceable as others may be...Lord Vader.

Vader recognizes what Palpatine has implied.

(DarthVader)
Master, I have destroyed Obi-Wan Kenobi.

(Palpatine)
Is that so? This may explain
the tremor I have sensed in the
force. If your former master
survived though, I wonder then -
if other Jedi may have survived
too?

No, that is not possible. The Jedi purge is now complete.

Master what about the destruction of the Death Star?, we could be vunerable to Rebel Attacks.

I have already contacted my men, a new Grand Moff, Jerjerrod from Endor and his men are already planning a more powerful weapon that will keep the galaxy under my control. The Alliance and the Galaxy must not know about this.

(Darth Vader)

(Palpatine)
Lord Vader, I am putting you in charge of the Empire. Your first main priority is to locate any Rebel base you encounter and take the troops and cease control of it. Do what must be done and see that the Rebellion will suffer for this outburst.

A commander is seen approaching.
Vader senses that the commander
needs to speak urgently.

(DarthVader)
Yes my master, the Rebellion will be crushed soon enough.

(Palpatine)
Yes...see to it my able apprentice.

The Emperor's holo image disappears.
Thunder cracks again.

(DarthVader)
What is it Commander?

(Commander)
I apologize for the intrusion my Lord.
However, we have attained the identity
of the lead fighter Pilot instrumental
in the attack on our battle station.

(DarthVader)
Yes?

(Commander)
Skywalker sir...Luke Skywalker.

Vader is taken back by this news.

(Commander)
M'Lord...

The Commander takes leave of Vader.

Vader looks out onto the rainy Coruscant
night. He drifts into heavy thought.

5 things that you will notice about it.....

1. The Emperor is contacting Vader via Holo. This means that after ROTS you are wondering what happened to the Emperor's look and in this scene and ESB's you only see Palps in a holo..and you are not too sure what his clearly looks like..but then in Jedi you see what has become of him in the last 20 years. Which is clearly more artistic.

2. Palps is unaware about Luke Skywalker.

3. You don't know that his men are building another Death Star. You think is something more scairer..but then your completely shocked to find in ROTJ's crawl that is indeed another Death Star!!

4. If you are a newbie and watching the saga in order for the first time..you are clearly pissing yourself to find out that Vader's son is alive and at the end your saying to yourself..
"Luke..he knows your alive"!!!!

5. Vader is in a drift thought when he finds that Luke is his son..and by the time Empire comes he's plotting against the Emperor for definate.
