I don't understand what you say, so I don't think so.

There, I changed the title back. As for your personal jabs, you can fuck off. You don't know me or my situation.
Yeah I am too. I really put a lot into TESB especially, but "live and learn" I guess. Hopefully I can get this back up and running in a couple weeks. I'll post something here either way.
....
The biggest problems I noticed with the canyon sequence are the cheaply cartoonish animated shadows and the terrible shaky see-through explosion of the colliding TIE Fighters.
Or, you can simply post a picture like that because the thread has:
1. Derailed.
2. Become a train wreck.
And now, back to TESB:R....

Sorry, there are just a couple asses here that rub me the wrong way, but 99.9% of the people here are kick ass! very cool people, and have made a lot of friends here over the years.
Amen brother. Amen.
Thanks. I eagerly await the results!
Well, I guess my request to Moth3r to delete this thread has been denied.
In a nutshell, the problem was actually the preamp mixer, and I didn't catch it because I was trying to do something else at the same time. That won't happen again.
The new preamp mixer will be here in roughly two weeks for me to give it a go again. If that doesn't solve the problem, the project will definitely be over as I will return everything to the manufacturer and be back to square one.
So, fingers crossed....
I believe I have found the culprit in this disaster, and may have a resolution in a couple weeks.
Thank the Maker you're not changing the ending, Ady. I was a little worried there for a bit. And just to prove how diversely the film effects people, I always, from day one in 1980, thought it was a galaxy. For the time, I think it was very craftily made, and it rotated, proving it wasn't just a painting. There is nothing that can upset things more than everyone trying to define everything on the screen. We hate George for it, yet many of us still do it.
^^^ Agreed. It's a space fantasy and doesn't require explanation. The scene is beautiful and needs no tinkering.
This project is indefinitely on hold until I work out some technical issues.
Sorry folks, I have scrapped TESB and will come back to it later.
The Empire Strikes Back is now available.
Wow, what a journey this one became. I hope you folks enjoy it. I really had to work some magic in a couple spots. The last track, "Finale", offered the largest challenge. As I was listening, I heard what I thought was a scuff on the record. So, I broke out the TESB CD to see if I could work in a patch. As it turns out, the glitch was on the CD as well and I realized it was actually the source material itself that had the flaw. So, I dug into my files and CD collection and found a fix. It only happens for a fraction of a second, but after all the work I put in on the other tracks, I just had to fix it. I fixed it on the vinyl rip ONLY and left the RSO/Polydor CD as is.
So, there you have it. :)
This contains the full LP soundtrack, as well as the CD.
If interested, PM me.
TESB is coming along nicely, and should be done within a day.
The mail away rocket firing Boba Fett is pretty neat.
I'd say it's long past time for Moth3r to do another thread-cleaning, but I forgot he doesn't read this anymore just for this reason.
Please folks, back to the topic....
Yeah, Luke says "Never!"
One thing that always got to me about the final duel is the fact that the lightsabers are so damn bright, but not a single reflection or silouette appears anywhere. Plus, they left the shadow of Vader's stunt blade in. I'd really like to see those things taken care of.
Thanks for the feedback and the additional cover art. In some cases, I have more than one copy of the material so I choose the best. In the case of Lapti Nek, I had to do my best with one copy. I take great pride in my records, but sometimes you just have no control over getting things that have been used. I'm currently working on TESB and the low-key cues are definitely a challenge.
I'll comment on my methods after the project is finished.
Or, I guess I should say the stars behind it jog.
These are all going to be available via MegaUpload instead of torrents.
