LOL, that's pretty cool! It's really different, but interesting. When I said 'toned down', I really meant cutting a lot of the uneccesarry scenes of just Jar-Jar.

I actually find that announcer to be more annoying than Jar-Jar. XD But yeah, in general, with Episode I, I think little edits like that would make a huge difference. Also, Jar-Jar needs to be toned down. I don't have a problem with him as a character, but he gets WAAAAAY too much screen-time. Also, Anakin's "Yippieeeees" and babbling while he's in the Starfighter needs to be cut. Just the audio there, though. IMO. lol

Btw, I'm pretty sure the 'Yoda lands on Dagobah' scene was included in the bonus disc of Episode III as a deleted scene, wasn't it?

And, what is this scene about Jocasta Nu and Obi-wan talking about Dooku I'm reading about up there? ^ Cause it looks REALLY interesting. Is there any footage of that scene floating around anywhere?

It's an interesting idea, but that would be hard to accomplish even if we all had an entire film studio to use. lol

I think I know what you mean about the Pod-Race sequence, but that little hint of agression that Anakin shows in the 2nd lap is pretty important to his character, I think. Plus, I saw a complete edit and splice together of those scenes by someone on Youtube and... it just flowed more. It seemed more realistic, I thought, with the added scenes. Maybe it's just me. (Also, keep in mind, it'll probably be edited in some areas so it won't be too long either. Like, I would imagine that some of the announcer's lines would be cut and that annoying "Oooohh Peeyoussah!" scene with Jar-Jar would most likely be cut as well).

And yes, I know what you mean. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against radical changes. For instance, I'd be all for an Episode II and III Anakin Voice-over and a Padme Voice-over.

But then, I've read people talk about completely removing Jar-Jar and ALL the gungans and... well... I just don't see how that could possibly be done. lol

Anyway, in all honesty, I think we should be careful that we don't try to get TOO radical. But the main thing for a prequel edit that I want to point out is... *drumroll* ... Deleted Scenes. There are certain deleted scenes in each of the 3 movies that shouldn't have been cut. >.< And I think that is one major (yet simple) step to making a nice edit of the prequels. The scenes that I think should be re-inserted:

Episode 1

- The Extended Starting Grid Sequence (podrace)

- The Extended Podrace (lap 2)

Episode 2

- Padme Adresses the Senate

- Extended Arrival on Naboo

- Padme's House

- Padme's Room

Episode 3

- The Seperatists Form

- The Seperatists Meet Again

- The Seperatists Adress the Chancellor

- Yoda Lands on Dagobah

These scenes, I feel, are very important to the movies. So IMO, it should be one of the first things to do. It'll be an easy edit cause we'd just be adding the scenes in as chapters... I think. Someone correct me if it's more complicated than that. lol
