• Castle in the Sky (Laputa) Japanese audio with the American score (and an alternate version with the updated American sound effects from the 2003 Disney DVD)
• Kiki’s Delivery Service: Japanese audio with the American score and theme songs from the 1998 Disney dub (with an alternate version with the Japanese theme songs paired with the American score, just like the Mandarin DVD dub)
• Kiki’s Delivery Service: Disney English dub 2010 cut dialogue Mandarin mix (Japanese theme songs but with the US score)
• Kiki’s Delivery Service: Disney English dub 1998 uncut dialogue with Japanese score
• Kiki’s Delivery Service: Disney English dub 1998 uncut dialogue Mandarin mix
• (500) Days of Summer: The Chronological Cut

I’m not surprised.
Where I live in the Philippines, there was a 35mm cinema across the street from where I live.
The last movie I saw there in 35mm was the Sonic movie in 2020. But the cinema closed for three years due to COVID.
And then when they reopened just a few weeks ago, they unfortunately went digital.

Does anyone have the latest 1080p Dremastered files?
Apparently, DrDre lost the files and the links are now down.

In the theatrical release of Everything Everywhere All At Once, Jenny Slate’s character is credited at the end as “Big Nose” (with quotation marks).
The home video release, however, would change her character name to Debbie the Dog Mom.

I would love it. And not just the Original Unaltered Trilogy in 4K HDR.
I would love it much more if all versions of each film were included.
Five versions each for the Original Trilogy (OG/1997/2004/2011/2019) and four versions each for the Prequel Trilogy (OG/DVD/2011/2019).

Disney100 4K UHD SteelBooks are being prepared for the Original Trilogy.
The artwork has not been revealed yet, but Best Buy (which is the only place you can get this) lists the original versions’ runtimes for the SteelBooks.
This is most likely a mistake on Best Buy’s part, but what better way to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The Walt Disney Company than releasing the original unaltered versions of Star Wars in 4K UHD for the first time?

It would be a very smart business decision on Disney’s part, but it is still very unlikely. Especially considering how they could easily phone it in and just stick the 2020 Special Editions discs in a new SteelBook. Disney is infamous for being super cheap with their disc releases, so I personally don’t see the Disney100 SteelBooks having the original versions. There is a one in a million chance I could be wrong, and I desperately wish I am wrong.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 alters some of the CGI to be a bit more polished, and to have extra animations.
Tails also yelps “Yay! Hugs!” at one point, which he never did in the theatrical version.

And also, Thor: Love and Thunder patched the infamous Axl floating head, in an attempt to fix it.
It just made it look worse, according to most people.

And each Rebuild of Evangelion (Shin Evangelion Theatrical Edition) film gets altered with each new release, and the original theatrical cuts are not available anywhere.
Because of this, many of the differences with the original versions are unknown, though the title does get updated with each new release.
So far, there are:

• 1.0 (original theatrical release of the first film)
• 1.01 (updated DVD version of the first film, now OOP as the later 1.11 version has been released on DVD as well; only released in HD in France and Spain as a bonus with the 1.11 Blu-ray)
• 1.11 (further updated Blu-ray version of the first film, taken from the original 720p files instead of a 35mm printout)
• 2.0 (original theatrical version of the second film)
• 2.22 (updated Blu-ray version of the second film)
• 3.0 (original theatrical version of the third film; includes a prologue short film)
• 3.33 (updated Blu-ray version of the third film; prologue short film has been removed from all international releases, but the Japanese releases keep it)
• 3.333 (further updated IMAX Enhanced 4K UHD version of the third film; prologue short film is not present even in Japan)
• 3.0+1.0 (original theatrical version of the fourth film, also released on 4DX/MX4D and IMAX)
• 3.0+1.01 (updated last run theatrical/Amazon Prime Video version of the fourth film, never released on IMAX and 4D formats)
• 3.0+1.11 (further updated IMAX Enhanced 4K UHD version of the fourth film, not out yet)

What was the “original mix” 5.1 audio in Aladdin like?
Did it have an LFE channel? Was the rear channels mono (4.0) or stereo (5.0)?
