Young people today care more about current events than previous generations!
Just because they care doesn’t mean that they have any idea of what they’re talking about. If a bunch of young people really care about what’s going on but get all of their information from Buzzfeed, then they are hardly less ignorant than the youth of previous generations.
If we’re arguing over what generation is the best, we all know which one was the greatest.

If TNG were on-air today, it would have been cancelled in the first season.
Them! (1953)
Shall We Dance (1937)
I watch one or two movies daily. Anything over that means I didn’t have anything I needed to do that day.

That’s not even mentioning the somewhat dubious quality of their animated classics’ Blu-ray releases…

She’s lying. As usual.
She never lies, she merely presents alternative facts.

I would love to see a video that similarly misconstrues and ignores from the other way around.
What was misconstrued or ignored?
Are you really going to make me go point by point?
I can’t make you do anything, really, I was just curious what was wrong with it. Point-by-point isn’t necessary, but if there’s like one or two main points then I’d be interested in reading them, since I thought it was pretty funny myself.
Han, stop trying to fly airplanes, please.

Actor Harrison Ford was involved in a potentially serious incident Monday in California as he was piloting his private plane, a single-engine Husky, NBC News has learned.
Ford, an experienced pilot who collects vintage planes, had been instructed to land on runway 20-L at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California, but mistakenly aimed for a taxiway, instead. His plane passed over the top of an American Airlines 737 carrying 110 passengers and a six-person crew.
The passenger plane, AA flight 1546, managed to depart safely for Dallas just minutes after the incident.
Ford, 74, was heard on air traffic control recordings asking, “Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?”
Air traffic controllers then informed Ford that he had landed on a taxiway rather than the runway — a violation of Federal Aviation Administration safety rules.
Is he alright?

The first resignation of the Trump presidency? Certainly not going to be the last.
I have a friend who would actually defend that movie.
Trump made another reference to his electoral college win in the press conference with Justin Trudeau in response to a question about the Canadian border. Ugh.
I’m not defending pestering, obnoxious people; I just don’t want to be cavalier in calling things harassment.
The Social Network isn’t a film I actively try to remember having watched, but it’s probably a good example.
Just finished watching Niagara, a 1953 Technicolor film noir with Marilyn Monroe and Joseph Cotten. Sounds great, but was pretty average and formulaic, despite the beautiful imagery and decent spectacle.
I can’t recall a single movie using the internet in an effective way. Maybe Chef, or Frank, but they used it in a subdued way and it wasn’t the main focus.
