I don't know who this Chefelf guy is but apparently he is in the wikipedia so I'll look him up.

I also like this guys opinions on ROTJ.

50 Reasons Why "Jedi" Sucks

Ah Chefelf... I love those lists, even though I don't hate ROTJ.

These spartans seems to be the bravest people known to history.

They'd have to be, to go into battle with only red capes, helmets, and leather speedo for protection.

Funny picture, by the way.

Will try to see the film next week.

Gentlemen, I present you probably the most beautiful women of our time, Ms. Natalie Wood. She was absolutely stunning.
I am sure that whenever I get to heaven, the angels will look like her.

Ah, Natalie Wood... old school beauty. When women looked like women instead of looking like high schoolers.

I offer Lee Remick -

MST3K

Of the Mike ones, I have to say Hobgoblins or Space Mutiny.

I've always thought that the two hosts were way too different in their styles to be compared fairly. They each have a different relationship and a different wit. Joel created the bots, he's their dad. They look up to him and respect him, and he's got a very droll wit. The bots constantly pick on Mike and don't really respect him, so it opens up a whole new aspect to the dynamic. He's also more sarcastic in his wit. It just depends on your tastes.

Agreed.

Favorite Joel - draw between Warrior of the Lost World ("This isn't Mad Max, it's Sad Max.") and Hercules Against The Moon Men.

Favorite Mike - probably Alien From LA.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but I didn't really like the Sci-Fi Channel era of MST3K. Pearl, Brain Guy and Bobo just weren't as engaging as Dr. Forrester and TV's Frank. Not to me anyway.

It's a pretty damn rad flick. I've been psyched for it for a while, and yelled at my mom a lot after she saw it early at the Toronto Film Festival this past September.

It was truly beautiful, and sad. The only thing that stopped this really damn good film from being really great was that all of the characters were extremely static. They were all classic character types that all remained unchanged for the duration of the film. It worked because it was basically a dark fairy tale, but it did wind up holding the true impact back a bit.

Saw it today and you took the words right out of my mouth. Very rad flick.

The Things We Hate And Love Thread .

I hate Bryan Singer

I hate that they made a sixth Rocky film

I hate that they're trying to make an Indiana Jones 4

I hate that there's a Simpsons movie coming to theaters this year

I hate Topher Grace being cast as Eddie Brock/Venom

I hate Jennifer Aniston in general

I hate that the 2002 remake series of He-Man & The Masters of the Universe was cancelled before it could finish its storyline(s)

I hate Emma Watson

I hate that when music legend James Brown died, the jerks who run the magazine Entertainment Weekly chose to put the worthless judges from American Idol on the cover and didn't even give James a corner photo. Where's the love for the late great Godfather of Soul?
