I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but after several years of analysis, I have come to the conclusion that wrestling serves the same purpose for men that soaps serve for women. Think about it: atrocious overacting, ridiculous character names, absurd plotlines and predictable outcomes. Could the commonality be any more obvious?

I would've rather seen a criss-cross on the casting: why not a Knoxville/ Walker pairing? Scott's just too goofy to be one of the Duke boys. And I'd rather see Biel as Daisy; she was always the smart character who helped the boys out when they were in too deep. I don't see Elisha Cuthbert or Jessica Simson pulling that off. If they're going to use one of the Simpson sisters, they should go with Ashley; she can actually act.

Have you heard any other stuff by Prozzak, Bossk? This was a one-off techno project by 2 members of the Canadian jazz-funk outfit The Philosopher Kings, and the whole CD is good trashy fun. Extremely tongue-in-cheek.

Kinda went on a DVD spree this week (student loans came in). Picked up Peter Pan(2003) and Life is Beautiful for $15 apiece new, and Jim Henson's Storyteller Collection and the latest Veggie Tales release, A Snoodle's Tale (Dr. Seuss inspired lunacy).
