I'd say more than one studio, since Catwoman is Warner, Collateral is Dreamworks/Paramount and I, Robot is Fox (I still think it would've been fun if Fox had cast Ewan McGregor in the Will Smith role and changed the title to 'Aye, Robot").

Actually, I am not personally familiar with Brazil's nightlife, but my brother lived there for a time and I took a class on sex and gender during my undergrad, in which we discussed alternate gender categories, during which Brazil came up. I was merely saying that, based on personal experience, near a military base was the only place I could see your scenario happening. Thanks for the clarification though; I was beginning to wonder where this kind of stuff was coming from.

They did the same thing with Shrek in 2001. It's kind of a turf war thing with Pixar (in 2001, Shrek came out on DVD the same day that Monsters, Inc. opened in theatres, and this year, The Incredibles opens on Nov. 5).

On a side note, one of the Canadian discount chains is advertising S2 as being available on Nov. 2 (on Cineplex screens, no less).

I think these two go hand in hand. Anyone who blindly follows a political viewpoint deserves any criticism s/he gets. An informed electorate is the best weapon for defending ourselves (and I don't mean informed by the media; get off the couch and do some real research).

Go to the manufacturer site for your sound card and d/l the latest version of the drivers for your card, but make sure that its for the appropriate OS; this should clear up any sound driver difficulties after you install the drivers.

And being directed by Mike Newell; personally, I really like what Alfonso Cuaron did with Prisoner of Azkaban. Admittedly, its; not the most faithful adaptation of the novel, but it really works as a movie and presents us with a more realistic vision of Hogwarts.

I think having @ least one important character die per book @ this point is rather useful, since it will help the target audience understand that death and grieving are a part of life.
