My grades were good... until I got into law school. Something about the learning process and the fact that you're competing with people who are equal and in many cases superior in intellect. My GPA has gone from a 3.6 to a 2.7, but it's OK; I know a lot of people in the same boat.

I know that's not entirely funny, but I do worry about being a parent in this day and age. No kidding; only thing I was planning on doing was bringing a Cabbage Patch doll along (baby stand-in, since my younger son is going as the Cat in the Hat and is too big to pass for a baby). Was also contemplating tying the jaws shut on the croc costume (it's one of those plush numbers with the croc's head on top, and my son's face is underneath).
