HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray
Time
I think greed is an oversimplification though; it has more to do with pride. Both sides want to be known as 'the format that won the HD war.' Sony has a score to settle after so many failed and marginal formats (Beta, MD, SACD, 8mm), and Toshiba wants to retain its crown as developer of the DVD format. Whoever has the most support wins the war, and it's looking like a deadlock @ this point.

I mean, the whole concept of the series kind of takes what we were expecting out of the prequels and throws it in our face. What was the one of THE things were looking forward to seeing in this new trilogy? The mysterious Clone Wars of course. But wait, what's this? In-between movies? We get a cartoon show instead? With Sith Witches? What is this, The Matrix?

No, it's Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. He fulfills the promise that GL has repeatedly reneged on.

Thats the reason why I don't own a single article of red clothing.[/q

Please elaborate. I've never heard of this before....

There was a great explanation of the 'red shirts' in Wednesday's episode of Lost, but here goes: every time Kirk and co. went down to a planet's surface to investigate, among the away team would be @ least one anonymous crew member wearing a red Starfleet shirt. This guy was most likely to get killed during the away team's mission, and eventually it became so predictable during the series' 79 episode run that the phenomenon became known as "The Red Shirt Curse." The only crew member to beat the curse was Scotty, and that was because he was a regular cast member.
