I respectfully beg to differ; a lot more pressure is placed on players in the playoffs, which definitely has an effect on postseason play. The only way to get an accurate measure of how good a team is would be to set up a control test; no Cup on the line, no bearing on season statistics. Each team plays every other team for a 3 game series; the most consistent winner (since the playing field would be as level as possible) would be the best team. Physically impossible, since the season has been stretched beyond all reason to accomodate the expansion teams, but it would settle this once and for all.

Personally, I also appreciate others liking SW as well. In my case, if it were any other film that was undergoing such changes, I would likely be just as quick to criticise the motivations and actions of the director IF he was unwilling to make the original version available. SW was one big step in turning me into the film fan I am today.

Anyone ever read Maxim's April Fools Day prank ideas? One of them was "Revenge on a Roommate:" take an old cool mist humidifier, fill it with the cheapest whiskey you can find, and let it run in your roommate's room all night. The next day, everything he owns will stink sumthin' fierce.
