Except that schizophrenia is not multiple personality disorder, or Dissociative Identity Disorder, as it is now called in the DSM-IV. Schizophrenia involves both auditory and visual hallucinations, and means split mind. The split is not of the mind in half, but rather a split from reality.

They did not shoot new footage for all the EEs. They shot pick-ups for each of the films as it was nearing release, and some footage may have been shot for the EEs @ this time, but there was not time set apart to shoot new footage specifically for the EEs.

Yeah, but they're only punished if they don't vote in 2 consecutive elections. Personally, I think anyone who doens't vote is not only lazy but has no right to complain when they don't agree with government policy.

It's a question of whether the reasonable person would have stepped on the skylight. That's the standard used in personal injury suits.

Yes, but the case would be tried separately, and there are laws that prevent evidence from one case from being used in a criminal case to incriminate the perpetrator.

Keep in mind that when we're talking about suing here, we're talking about personal injury cases. It is still possible to make a case for contributory negligence, which could reduce any award the burglar would receive to near zero.

As the law stands, it is possible to sue the owner of a house you are breaking into under 2 circumstances: (1) if the homeowner used excessive force to disarm you; and (2) if the homeowner has booby-trapped the house.
