Mostly, I remember his cameo in Gremlins 2.

But remember that Monty Python was heavily influenced by the BBC radio series The Goon Show, starring Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan (along with early member Michael Bentine). My dad is a huge fan of the old Goon Shows and at one point had most of them taped off the radio. Funny, funny stuff.

True enough, and the McG Superman is being scripted by J.J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias), so maybe we'll get Jennifer Garner, Keri Russell or Amy Jo Johnson (the pink Power Ranger) as Lois.

CG is only effective when used in conjunction with actual, physical elements (miniatures, puppets, motion capture on-set). Take a look @ Hellboy or JP3 as solid example of what can be done when CG is used in conjunction with puppets and models. LOTR stands as the benchmark for on-set motion capture when it comes to effective CG. Even Bob Hoskins in Roger Rabbit had to have something to act aganst to make the Toons seem real, and that was only cel animation. Anyone who says that CG on its own is the future of cinema needs to get his head examined.

Yeah, and they could always pull a Universal and include a ticket to Ep III with the Clone Wars DVD, just like Uni did with The Mummy (for the Mummy Returns), Van Helsing, and the new release of Pitch Black.
