Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Just out of curiosity will there be a set of comparison screenshots that help distinguish improvements upon v2.0 such as seen here? http://www.uloz.to/22762346/compar-v1-vs-v2-rar

Granted it's fine if you're still determining how you want the BD extras to turn out by then so it might end up being fun just watching v2.0 and v2.1 AVCHDs side by side and notice most of the differences until then.

OK, guys, last chance for any v2.1 suggestions you may have.

Harmy, when the stormtroopers are looking for C3-PO and R2-D2 in Mos Eisley theres a shadow of the floating droid from the special edition on the ground, did you remove this?.

You're in luck, as this was thankfully removed for good just as it should be. http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Harmys-STAR-WARS-Despecialized-Edition-HD-REMASTERED-is-now-released/post/613341/#TopicPost613341

As far as I know, you can find torrents on public trackers - all you need to dfo is a little googling. And I'm running out of invites, so I'd appreciate if you guys could do that instead.

All of Harmy's work is on TPB.

Sssssssssssssssshhh. As far as we're concerned, that part of the internet is none of our concern or place of business to go telling people about. It's better if that wasn't even true at all so we can all be happy.

Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time
I'm curious to hear a sort of retrospective on his relationship with Star Wars since he has noted before that his interest in Star Trek wasn't up to par with many a fans, until we find out more I'm crossing my fingers that he's on our side in terms of understanding what we love about the franchise in a way similar to how Michael Arndt spoke recently about recognizing the better qualities we hold near and dear.

OK, I'd like to revive this thread, since I want to start working on v2.0 next month.

If you guys have any suggestions about what could be improved over v1.0, now is the time to start discussing them :-)

I think one of the big questions to bring up just to clear up for anyone who hasn't been extensively following this would be - What sources/references would you be using in addition to everything on the 1st post in order to truly call this v2.0?

Of course, after all we wouldn't want to start a mess of things due to 2.0 leaving an imprint on people's minds already to the point of questioning any further alteration; I would compare this to working backwards from where SW is officially to as it shall stand in 2.1, however it would be naive of me to assume that little out of the hard work put into all of this. On the contrary, keeping these fond memories alive to pass onto future generations in the form of truly Despecialized editions is a blessing unmeasurable by our gratitude as Star Wars fans.

I like George Lucas
Time
Sometimes I wish he worded his feelings about what he does more along the lines of "This is something I've been meaning to do for a long time" or "I hope everyone is able to appreciate what I'm doing with as much enthusiasm as I do" instead of falling back on earning the control over everything or talking about the decisions in relation only to how he feels about them as opposed to what he might consider better for all of us, but at the end of the day we couldn't have gotten here without the guy so my hat's off to ya.

Disney Acquires LucasFilm for $4.05 billion, Episode 7 in 2015, 8 and 9 to Follow, New Film Every 2-3 Years

I was never one to complain about the Ewoks either since there was plenty of edgy stuff to counterbalance it in ROTJ(Which btw I am indifferent about with the reputation it has among fans).

Have they said when there would be more details about who they are narrowing it down to to fill the other major roles in crafting Episode VII?

If you decide to hold off on those extras, does this mean your updated v2 despecialized covers will have to wait until time is on your side?

Also, HH did just come out and say they are planning on putting out the lossless audio soon just so you know. http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Star-Wars-1977-70mm-sound-mix-recreation-stereo-and-51-versions-now-available/post/608393/#TopicPost608393
