Info Wanted: 'LOTR - FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING': Green tint removed?

kk650, do you know of a way I can play any of your encodes on a BD-ROM without re-encoding to account for the black bars not being encoded on your files? I assume you are just watching these on a PC? Would prefer not to re-encode your great work and risk lowering the quality. I typically max out the bitrate on any re-encodes, but still....

Star Wars ANH Bluray Semi-Despecialized & CC (JASWFP) V1 DONE (Released)

Got a chance to skim a few sections last night and I think it looks beautiful. Everything just looks like it should to me. Been a very long time coming! By the way, newguy, do you have the original DTS-HD file that you could upload for those that may want to mux it in with the video? If not, no biggie.

Do you do your final encodes in Premiere? Looks great from what I saw. Still very much interested in the full Blu-Ray version if possible. :)

I play everything on Blu-Ray so I humbly request a full 1920x1080 file. Would prefer not to reencode and possibly lose quality. If it goes into BD-50 territory wouldn't bother me a bit. Also, are you going to include the DTS-HD lossless or just a DTS 5.1 file? I'm hoping the former as so much work went into this, might as well make the audio as great as can be too. :)

Well, considering how money is not supposed to be involved, I don't see why it should be required to acquire one of these projects.

We don't allow money to go to the project creator(s), why allow it to go to the newsgroup company?

Following that line of reasoning we shouldn't allow any money to go to the manufacturers of the recordable Blu-rays we'll be burning the files to also.

Personally, I say Teamblu should feel free (no pun intended) to post their completed projects wherever they see fit. Personally, I'd rather pay a bit for say a secure file locker access or newsgroup access to get these little gems than not have them at all.

I think some of us would prefer Teamblu create these wonderful projects, burn them to disk, package them and send them to everyone free of charge. Good luck on that one!

Got to share the theatrical cut of The Neverending Story with my 6-year-old via that TeamBlu release. Thought it looked very filmlike and nice with no compression issues whatsoever. The DTS 5.1 sounded very nice. Great work once again! My boy said that he wants to see part two and three now ... and I haven't been able to break it to him just yet that they probably suck. :)

Info: Star Trek HD Caps

After having listened to the 7.1 audio for each of the first six movies, I think all the mixes are faithful to the original sound design without any noticeable modifications. I will say though that the music in TMP was much more prominent than I remember though. Sounded pretty fantastic I thought. Besides the better grain structure, I'm hoping someone can get the director's cuts of II - VI onto a preservation as who knows when they may turn up (if ever) on an official Blu-Ray. As far as sound editing goes, the extra scenes would have to be artificially bumped up to 7.1 to work with the new track.
