That said, I see nothing wrong with a fanedit Burtonizing Batman Forever, just know that I see it the same way I would Burtonizing Batman Begins (something I’d kinda like to try someday).

Good luck on your efforts! I won’t be making edits of Nolan’s trilogy, as I see it as one of the definite iterations of Batman, and it’s one of my favorite trilogies of all time.

It’s Not definitive to me it took away elements from the comics the Lazarus pit joker falling in acid etc babe and the venom etc. and Batman voice sounds stupid.

Personally, I think the definitive iterations of Batman were the Animated Series, the Dark Knight trilogy, the Arkham games and Matt Reeves’ movie. However, this is a discussion that should take place elsewhere.

I meant in live action form if we’re talking about animated I’d say the 90s animated dc universe wins hands down and a good amount of the original non dcau animated movies and shows.

Looking forward to this is it possible for you to do this for Batman returns as well next? because I hate that he kills in that film as well.

I’m planning on making edits of Batman Returns and Batman Forever as well.

If only the new Batman 89 comic didn’t have Batman kill It would have completely crushed Batman forever.

Didn’t that comic get cancelled, or didn’t get picked up due to copyright and licensing issues?

No it was finished it was six issues catwoman is in it barbera gordon yes as Jim Gordon’s daughter is in it not as batgirl and dating Billy dee Williams Harvey dent we got a new take on robin based on the planned marlon wayan’s version.

It’s not something that registered to me as a major issue that needs fixing, and I don’t have any knowledge about how to do it, but I’d incorporate clean alternate voice lines if anyone did the work to produce them.

The reason I was hoping it was possible was because Tim curry feels badly miscasted as palpatine his tone is right but the voice takes me out because I don’t hear palpatine I hear Tim curry.

Who makes the best deepfakes currently?

I’d say Shamook.

The reason I ask is I heard jarkan fixed up some of his deepfakes and made them a bit better.

He did with his Luke Skywalker one.

So not the leia and tarkin deepfakes then?

Nah. I think Shamook’s Rogue One deepfakes looked far superior compared to Jarkan’s.

Am I wrong in thinking the only flaw in deepfakes is skin textures because the skin looks smoothed out on tarkin.

Looks pretty good, if you ask me. But I do see what you’re talking about.

Yeah like wrinkles birthmarks etc. are basically smoothed away.

Wouldn’t restoring midichlorians and the prophecy just be a matter of adding back in a few scenes? Should be super easy with a few minutes in any decent video editing program for anyone who wants to do so and probably not worth asking for a new cut just for those things. FWIW I agree the trilogy works better with those concepts in as the Jedi treating The Force as a scientific field and interpreting the prophecy in a way that’s convenient for them is good for underscoring their arrogance.

Depends on if you can color match what I did. If you just go to the color wheel and move stuff, you’d be wrong. Splicing in the uncorrected scenes would stand out.

Forgot about that. In that case, a version where it’s just SFX and color correction with no story changes sounds like a really good idea.

That’s be the Purist Cut

Is it possible to change dooku’s name pronunciation to dow koo that sounds better.

Wouldn’t that contradict all the EU like Clone Wars? And Idk about that, ive never even played with the voice ai tech so I don’t know what’s possible or not with those things

How is it impossible to fix it in the clone wars as well use the same technique to change the pronunciation it’s not like he’s in every episode or is mentioned in every episode.

I have Zero intent to edit anything other than some of the movies.

That’s ok could you just do it for the trilogy if not i understand.

@WXM can you improve the shot like what was done with the empire strikes back scenes in revisited like what was done to the green screen scenes etc.

I’ve ceased doing elaborate help because I’ve kind of fallen behind the times on software; I’m far from a lot of the fan effects gurus around now, and honestly I’ve just learned that for me it’s a little too thankless in the end to put so much mind power and such into these kinds of things that can take a long time and/or are elaborate (unlike cleaning up specks/scratches from a couple of minutes of Brave Little Toaster).

However, I’m guessing there will be at least one talented fan who’ll tackle the lounge shot and do a great job of it, surely better than I could do with my limited software. With the 4k of the TR/SLV to give everyone great foundation footage, yeah, don’t worry, someone will tackle it and have it look awesome 😃

That’s good to hear can’t wait to see that person’s edit of that scene and hope they can fix the green screen outlines on the crew of the enterprise.
