Is it possible for you to make the 4k de windows in that scene the blackish gray part specifically look more impressive somehow? the reason I ask is it almost looks like an incomplete effect.

It’s sad that because of you wish and teen angel not being that popular they can never get anything but tv rips. I feel even not that popular but liked by even some people shows should be treated better than this. I included another show in this category unhappily ever after it’s stuck in garbage quality too. 😦
I totally agree and also there are shows that ran for over 5 seasons and they still get a horrible release, like Beverly Hills 90210.
Seems any show isn’t really safe anymore.
Yeah I know of music copyright garbage on that and hatchet job that Was done to the baywatch hd release and it’s the reason all that and Pete and Pete haven’t gotten complete releases. I wish the copyright laws were changed. 😦

I wish joss whedon wasn’t a controversial figure and Disney actually listened about releases fans want like the Aladdin the series and a hd remaster of gargoyles because if they won’t release them. I don’t think especially with the controversial they would ever do a remaster of Buffy and angel in hd and that’s extremely sad. 😦

This is not meant to recreate Tarantino’s The Whole Bloody Affair. This is meant to restructure Kill Bill in a more satisfying and linear format, based off of James Rolfe’s video essay.
No what I meant was this but with the new whole bloody affair scenes and the one scene that’s in color in the whole bloody affair as part of it other than that everything else is the same. If that footage was available and you don’t like that idea for your edit I understand just an idea that’s all.
I’m not aware of the exclusive scenes found within The Whole Bloody Affair.

Tim Burton was more interested in the villains than Batman himself. His movies clearly show this. While Joel Schumacher may have been making a studio movie and doing what Warner Bros told him to do at the time, I think he seems more respectful and interested in Batman than Burton was.
It’s sad that he treated Batman better in Batman 89 than in the sequel. I wonder if there’s a comic of returns that better than the one comic adaptation of returns that exists out there that gives us more Bruce Wayne and Batman?

I’m sorry if I’m still harping on this but I will always wish somebody anybody would be able to fix the part of the clone wars where palpatine/sidious’s voice changed drastically so the voice is consistent with the films. if you know somebody who might be willing to fix this that would be great if not I understand it’s just one major thing that ruins that part of the clone wars for me. 🙁

I have completed a Fan Edit of the Reboot of “The Munsters 2022”, a V2 after first uploading V1 to everyone’s favorite organ to good feedback.
The Movie followed a family of monsters who moves from Transylvania to an American suburb.

Out of my love for the original I set about trying to salvage what I could of this and as a homage to the original, my idea was to turn this in a type of tv episode in Black and White with opening and closing credits as close to the original and place a laugh track in again like the original and add a bit of grain and scratches but only minimal and some replacement music.
Gone is 1hr and 5mins of trash and we are down to 44mins as an extended tv show.
There are hundreds of cuts here and to help me I used some original Munsters Movie soundtrack “Munster Go Home” to replace that horrible rock track and singing.
Next up was Hermans voice, to high pitched so I had to tone this down a tad with pitch shifter.
The laugh track was taken from a large selection of Hollywood laugh tracks placed in were needed to the cut movie, some new sound background effects, bats, wolfs, thunder, wind and a few others and lastly a Munsters font to help recreate the titles.
The basic story of the movie is still there, Lily wants love, Herman created, Lily finds Herman and they fall in love, Lose the Castle, Move to Mockingbird Lane… The end
V2 corrects a spelling mistake in the opening credits and slightly lowers the volume at the beginning, a new fade in at the beginning and a quick sound edit to it’s alive sound bite.

Burton didn’t write the script. I guess you could argue he approved it and it was in service of his vision, but clearly he’s not the sole culprit.
Still it’s odd since he’s a fan of the killing joke though yeah it mostly a joker story and The dark knight which is completely a Batman story but my point is why did he agree to not having enough of the main character in a film called Batman returns it’s in the title. yet Batman and Bruce Wayne are side lined in their own movie. I will never understand that it to me is being blind as a bat pun intended.

-No I’m not dead, for anyone asking. First I’d like to say a big thank you for everyone invested in my supercut of the evil dead trilogy. To be honest, I haven’t been logged into my account since I uploaded my updates on the edit itself, but I have been periodically keeping an eye on the public opinion on it. Sorry to all who have DM’ed me (and I have been messaged a LOT), I’ll get to why I haven’t responded soon.
-As said in the OP, I work professionally in film/media (wouldn’t want to dwell on that) but you get the point. I’ve been very busy, and further edits of the projects have been made in between my workload, but to all of those excuses here’s what I have to say about the edit…-I’VE FINISHED BOTH THE VARIABLE ASPECT RATIO AND WIDESCREEN FAN EDITS OF THE EDIT, now called Evil Dead: The Trilogy Cut and it is in FULL HDR10/Dolby Vision thanks to the new release of Army of Darkness. THAT is the main reason why this project has been delayed.
-THERE WILL BE FULL NEW UPDATES (Refined edit breakdowns) COMING IN THE NEXT 1 1/2 TO 2 WEEKS; I’ve been out of town for a while now, but in the meantime, the OP contains the new title and poster!-Now another reason why this release has been delayed. This might be my only publicly known fanedit. I realized how weird releasing a fan edit would be, and the fact that the workarounds in showing this to folks is not great on my end.
-I WON’T BE RELEASING THIS OFFICIALLY MYSELF. For one, I don’t condone piracy+selling copyrighted content. In regards to sending anything from this edit out to folks, I much prefer getting in contact with individuals who OWN ALL THE UHD RELEASES OF THESE MOVIES. Not the DVD’s, not the Blu-Rays, but all the UHD’s, as those were my only sources used. NO SELLING OF THIS EDIT IS EVER ALLOWED BY ME.
Thank you to Sam Raimi, Lionsgate, Shout! Factory, etc. for be able to release these in the highest quality, and I want to do my part in supporting the official releases over this.

What cuts of army of darkness are you using just the theatrical cut? the reason I ask is because it was the only cut upgraded to 4k hdr/Dolby vision that’s all.
Army of Darkness will only be in its Theatrical cut for this. That’s actually a good point I didn’t bring up. To preserve the HDR10 and Dolby Vision, I will only be using the newly released Shout Factory restoration. I know that will make this a hard pass for a lot of fans, and hopefully there are other fans who’ll be able to do the same as I am with their preferred cut of AoD. For now, my current intention is to keep all the UHD Basics/Metadata into the master of this, as well as make the edit specifically connected to Ash vs. Evil Dead, meaning no Director’s Cut ending.
I’m not a fan of the original planned ending and not having the good bad I’m the guy with the gun line in the director’s cut but I wish mgm Hong Kong wouldn’t be stingy with that cuts footage because it contains parts that make scenes in the movie make more sense. same goes for whoever has the tv cut footage so the the two missing scenes that are in the tv cut were remastered. same goes for who has the one deleted scene I wish was not only kept but was also cleaned up was the Henry the red recruitment scene.

I wish the original film prints of the extended edition of the lord of the rings trilogy were out there and somebody could scan them in 4k and the cgi effects as well. so we’d get a release without digital tinkering and with a proper Dolby vision hdr grade. 😦
